The MH17 DVI Operation was an eye opener and a great experience for those who are directly involved in the operation. We have the professional expertise in handling similar situations elsewhere. Definitely there is room for improvement. MH17 tragedy was a tragic incident and every Malaysian and the world at large share the sorrow of the next of kin of the victims. The MH17 DVI Operation was an international effort and cooperation performed according to international standards. The Netherlands LTFO (Landelijk Team Forensische Opsporing) organised and led the operation in a professional and exemplary manner. All participating countries showed tremendous dedication, professionalism and good esprit de corps in making this operation a success in the spirit of international cooperation.
