STATUS TERKINI KES DISAHKAN COVID-19 YANG TELAH PULIH
Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) ingin memaklumkan bahawa tujuh (7) kes yang disahkan positif Penyakit Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) sebelum ini telah pulih dan dibenarkan discaj daripada wad Hospital Sungai Buloh. Ini menjadikan 42 kes telah pulih sepenuhnya setakat ini dari COVID-19 dan telah discaj daripada wad.
STATUS TERKINI KES COVID-19 DI MALAYSIA
KKM ingin memaklumkan bahawa sehingga 15 Mac 2020, 12 jam tengah hari, terdapat 190 kes baharu yang telah dilaporkan. Ini menjadikan jumlah kes positif COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 428 kes. Berdasarkan siasatan awal, kebanyakan kes-kes baharu ini adalah berkaitan dengan kluster perhimpunan tabligh di Masjid Seri Petaling.
Sehingga kini, seramai sembilan (9) kes positif COVID-19 sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU) dan memerlukan bantuan pernafasan.
NASIHAT KESIHATAN BERKAITAN COVID-19
Penyiasatan dan pengesanan peserta perhimpunan tabligh masih sedang giat diteruskan. Justeru, KKM menyeru agar peserta perhimpunan tabligh menghubungi Pejabat Kesihatan Daerah berhampiran untuk tindakan selanjutnya. Peserta perhimpunan tabligh akan diletakkan di bawah perintah pengawasan dan pemerhatian seksyen 15(1), Akta Pencegahan dan Pengawalan Penyakit Berjangkit 1988 untuk tempoh 14 hari dari tarikh akhir menghadiri perhimpunan tabligh di Masjid Seri Petaling atau kontak rapat kepada kes positif COVID-19 mengikut mana yang terkemudian. Begitu juga untuk kontak rapat kepada kes positif COVID-19, PUI yang tidak mematuhi kriteria kemasukan ke dalam hospital, mereka juga perlu diletakkan di bawah perintah pengawasan dan pemerhatian mengikut ketentuan di bawah Akta yang sama.
Sehubungan itu, KKM ingin memaklumkan bahawa semua Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri (JKN) dan Pejabat Kesihatan Daerah telah menjalankan aktiviti berkaitan bagi kawalan kejadian COVID-19 dalam kalangan jemaah tabligh dan juga lain-lain kes disyaki COVID-19 bagi mengekang penularan jangkitan ini. Semua pihak dipohon memberi kerjasama rapat apabila kepada pihak KKM dan bersama-sama membendung penularan ini dengan mengikuti nasihat-nasihat rasmi yang dikeluarkan.
Rakyat Malaysia diminta tidak menularkan sebarang maklumat yang boleh menyebabkan kebimbangan kepada orang awam. KKM akan terus memantau perkembangan kejadian jangkitan ini melalui maklumat yang diperolehi dan akan dimaklumkan dari semasa ke semasa.

UPDATES ON THE CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19)
SITUATION IN MALAYSIA
Current Status of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Who Have Recovered
15 March 2020 – The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that seven (7) cases have fully recovered and discharged well from Sungai Buloh Hospital. Cumulatively, 42 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered and discharged well.
Current Situation of COVID-19 in Malaysia
15 March 2020, 12 pm – A total of 190 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 428 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Based on preliminary investigation, the majority of these additional cases are related to the Tabligh gathering in Seri Petaling mosque.
Currently nine (9) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units requiring ventilation support.
Health Advisory on COVID-19
Investigation and contact tracing activities for individuals involved with the Tabligh gathering are still actively ongoing. Therefore, MOH urges all individuals who have participated in the Tabligh gathering to contact the nearest District Health Office for further management. These individuals will be placed under the home-surveillance order under Section 15(1) of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 for 14 days from the date they last joined the Tabligh gathering in Seri Petaling mosque or identified as close contact to a confirmed COVID-19 case, whichever is later. Similarly, close contacts of confirmed COVID-19 cases who do not meet the criteria for hospital admission will also be placed under the 14-day home surveillance under the same Act.
Therefore, MOH wishes to inform that all State Departments of Health and District Health Offices are currently undertaking COVID-19 control activities amongst the Tabligh members and other suspected COVID-19 individuals to prevent further spread of the infection. All parties are requested to provide their full support to MOH and to work together to contain the spread of the infection by complying to all health advisories.
Malaysians are requested to refrain from sharing or disseminating unverified news or information that may cause anxiety to the public. MOH will continue to monitor the development of the COVID-19 situation, and the public will be continuously updated on the latest information.
