Kenyataan Akhbar KPK 20 Mac 2020 -Situasi Semasa Jangkitan Penyakit Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) di Malaysia

STATUS TERKINI KES DISAHKAN COVID-19 YANG TELAH PULIH

Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) ingin memaklumkan bahawa terdapat 12 kes yang telah pulih dan dibenarkan discaj pada hari ini. Ini menjadikan jumlah kumulatif kes yang telah pulih sepenuhnya dari COVID-19 dan telah discaj daripada wad adalah sebanyak 87 kes.

STATUS TERKINI KES COVID-19 DI MALAYSIA

Sehingga 20 Mac 2020 pukul 12 tengah hari, terdapat 130 kes baharu yang telah dilaporkan. Ini menjadikan jumlah kes positif COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 1,030 kes. Berdasarkan siasatan awal, daripada 130 kes baharu yang dilaporkan hari ini, sebanyak 48 kes adalah berkaitan dengan kluster perhimpunan tabligh di Masjid Jamek Seri Petaling.

Sehingga kini, seramai 26 kes positif COVID-19 sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU) dan memerlukan bantuan pernafasan.

NASIHAT KESIHATAN BERKAITAN COVID-19

Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan telah dilaksanakan mulai 18 Mac sehingga 31 Mac 2020, yang antara lain melibatkan larangan menyeluruh pergerakan bagi membendung penularan wabak jangkitan COVID-19 di Malaysia. Selama tempoh penguatkuasaan Perintah ini, orang ramai diminta untuk berada di rumah.

Walaupun tinggal di dalam rumah, rakyat Malaysia disarankan untuk kekal aktif, sama ada melalui senaman atau aktiviti fizikal. Pada masa kini terdapat pelbagai senaman di rumah yang boleh dilakukan, contohnya:

  • Senaman yang berbentuk kardio bagi yang mempunyai basikal senaman atau treadmill di rumah.
  • Senaman yang menggunakan berat badan sendiri, seperti push-ups, squats, planks, burpees dan lounges (yang menggunakan pelbagai otot tanpa memerlukan peralatan khusus), senaman Tabata dan senaman ringan seperti yoga atau tai chi.

Rakyat Malaysia juga boleh kekal aktif dengan melakukan pelbagai bentuk tarian dan mengambil peluang untuk melakukan spring cleaning di dalam rumah. Kajian menunjukkan bahawa senaman dan aktiviti fizikal adalah penting untuk mengekalkan kesihatan mental dengan meningkatkan mood dan melegakan kebimbangan dan keresahan. Ia membantu mengasah minda, meningkatkan kekuatan otot dan kekuatan aerobik.

UPDATES ON THE CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19)

SITUATION IN MALAYSIA

 

Current Status of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Who Have Recovered

20 March 2020 – The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 12 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 87 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered and discharged well.

 

Current Situation of COVID-19 in Malaysia

20 March 2020, 12 pm – A total of 130 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 1,030 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Based on preliminary investigation, of these 130 additional confirmed cases, 48 cases are related to the Tabligh gathering in Seri Petaling mosque.

Currently, 26 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICU) requiring ventilation support.

 

Health Advisory on COVID-19

The Movement Control Order that is enforced from 18 March 2020 to 31 March 2020 includes a comprehensive restriction of population movement to reduce the spread of COVID-19 infection in Malaysia. The public is requested to remain at home for this duration.

While staying at home, Malaysians are encouraged to stay active, whether through exercise or physical activity. Nowadays, there are various indoor exercises that can be done, for example:

  • Cardio-based exercises for those who have exercise bicycles or treadmills at home.
  • Exercises that use your own body weight without the need for specialised equipment such as push-ups, squats, planks, burpees and lounges, Tabata, and lightweight exercises such as yoga or tai chi.

Malaysians can also stay active by doing various forms of dances and taking the opportunity to do spring cleaning in and around the house. Studies have shown that exercise and physical activity are important for maintaining mental health by improving mood and relieving anxiety and stress. It helps to sharpen the mind, improve muscle strength and aerobic strength.
