STATUS TERKINI KES DISAHKAN COVID-19 YANG TELAH PULIH

Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) ingin memaklumkan bahawa terdapat 80 kes yang telah pulih dan dibenarkan discaj pada hari ini. Ini menjadikan jumlah kumulatif kes yang telah pulih sepenuhnya dari COVID-19 dan telah discaj daripada wad adalah sebanyak 1,321 kes (33.33 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

STATUS TERKINI KES COVID-19 DI MALAYSIA

Sehingga 7 April 2020 pukul 12:00 tengah hari, terdapat 170 kes baharu yang telah dilaporkan. Ini menjadikan jumlah kes positif COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 3,963 kes.

Sehingga kini, seramai 92 kes positif COVID-19 sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU). Daripada jumlah tersebut, 50 kes memerlukan bantuan pernafasan.

Daripada maklumat terkini yang dilaporkan ke Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) Kebangsaan, dukacita dimaklumkan bahawa terdapat pertambahan satu (1) lagi kes kematian berkaitan COVID-19. Justeru, jumlah kumulatif kes kematian COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 63 kes (1.59 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes):

• Kes kematian ke-63 (kes ke-3794) merupakan lelaki warganegara Malaysia berumur 71 tahun yang berasal daripada Perlis. Beliau mempunyai sejarah menghadiri perhimpunan keagamaan di Sulawesi, Indonesia pada 17 Mac 2020 hingga 24 Mac 2020. Beliau telah dirawat di Hospital Enche’ Besar Hjh Kalsom, Johor pada 5 April 2020 dan disahkan meninggal dunia pada 6 April 2020 jam 11.00 malam.

KKM mengucapkan takziah kepada ahli keluarga tersebut.

HARI KESIHATAN SEDUNIA 7 APRIL 2020

Sempena Hari Kesihatan Sedunia pada hari ini iaitu 7 April 2020, saya ingin mengambil kesempatan untuk mengucapkan jutaan terima kasih kepada semua petugas-petugas perubatan dan kesihatan terutamanya mereka daripada barisan hadapan (frontliners), sama ada sektor Kerajaan, swasta, sukarelawan dan juga Badan Bukan Kerajaan (NGO).

Sekalung penghargaan juga kepada petugas-petugas di belakang tabir yang memainkan peranan penting sebagai tulang belakang dalam memastikan kesiapsiagaan dan kelancaran respons di lapangan.

Sesungguhnya kesihatan adalah tanggungjawab kita bersama kerana setiap sektor adalah sektor kesihatan (Every sector is a Health sector). Pada hari ini, kita menyaksikan bagaimana setiap sektor memainkan peranan masing-masing yang kritikal dalam mengurus dan membendung wabak COVID-19 di Malaysia.

Dalam situasi getir ini, petugas-petugas di barisan hadapan dan belakang tabir sedang bekerja bertungkus lumus tanpa mengenal lelah, namun mereka terus cekal berjuang. Perjuangan ini kita perlu pikul bersama sehingga kita berjaya mengakhiri penularan pandemik ini.

NASIHAT KESIHATAN BERKAITAN COVID-19

Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Diperketatkan (Enhanced Movement Control Order) telah mula dilaksanakan sejak 27 Mac 2020 di beberapa kawasan yang berisiko tinggi.

Tujuan PKPD ini adalah untuk membendung jangkitan COVID-19 daripada menular keluar dari kawasan tersebut dan bagi memutuskan rantaian penularan jangkitan COVID-19. Langkah ini akan membolehkan aktiviti pengesanan kes secara aktif (active case detection) dari rumah ke rumah dilaksanakan, selain aktiviti nyahkuman dijalankan di kawasan berkaitan.

Sepanjang tempoh Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan, pihak KKM juga inginmenasihatkan orang ramai supaya duduk di rumah sambil mengamalkan:

1. Tahap kebersihan yang optimum pada setiap masa, seperti kerap mencuci tangan dengan menggunakan air dan sabun
2. Penjarakan sosial (social distancing) sekurang-kurangnya 1 meter dari orang lain.

KKM akan terus memantau perkembangan kejadian jangkitan ini melalui segala maklumat yang diperolehi dan akan dimaklumkan kepada rakyat dari semasa ke semasa.

UPDATES ON THE CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19)

SITUATION IN MALAYSIA

Current Status of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Who Have Recovered

7 April 2020 – The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 80 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 1,321 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered and discharged well (33.33% of total cumulative cases).

Current Situation of COVID-19 in Malaysia

7 April 2020, 12 pm – A total of 170 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 3,963 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia.

Currently, 92 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICU), and of these, 50 cases are on ventilation support.

Regretfully, one (1) additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH. Cumulatively, there are now 63 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.59% of total cumulative cases):

1. Death #63: Case 3,794 is a 71 year-old Malaysian man from Perlis. He has a history of attending a religious gathering in Sulawesi, Indonesia from 17 March 2020 until 24 March 2020. He was admitted into Enche’ Besar Hajjah Kalsom Hospital, Johor on 5 April 2020 and was pronounced dead on 6 April 2020 at 11.00 pm.

World Health Day, 7 April 2020

In conjunction with the World Health Day today, 7 April 2020, I would like to take the opportunity to thank all medical and healthcare personnel, particularly the frontliners from the public and private sectors, volunteers as well as non-governmental organisations (NGOs).

My deepest appreciation also for the people behind the scenes, who play important roles as the backbone in ensuring preparedness and smooth response in the field.

Indeed, health is our common and shared responsibility, as every sector is a health sector. Today, we can see how each sector plays a critical role in the management and preventing further spread of the COVID-19 infection in Malaysia.

In this difficult situation, frontliners and people behind the scenes are working hard and tirelessly despite many challenges. We must continue to fight together until we can end this pandemic.

Health Advisory on COVID-19

The Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) has been enforced since 27 March 2020 in several high-risk localities.

The main objective of the EMCO is to prevent COVID-19 infection from spreading out of that particular locality and to break the COVID-19 infection transmission chain. The EMCO will also enable more efficient active case detection from house to house, as well as disinfection activities within that locality.

Throughout the duration of the Movement Control Order, MOH advises the public to stay at home while practising:

1. Optimal level of personal hygiene at all times, such as washing hands frequently with water and soap
2. Practice social distancing at least 1 meter away from others

MOH will continue to monitor the development of the COVID-19 situation based on all available information, and the public will be continuously updated on the latest information.
