STATUS TERKINI KES DISAHKAN COVID-19 YANG TELAH PULIH

Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) ingin memaklumkan bahawa terdapat 86 kes yang telah pulih dan dibenarkan discaj pada hari ini. Ini menjadikan jumlah kumulatif kes yang telah pulih sepenuhnya dari COVID-19 dan telah discaj daripada wad adalah sebanyak 6,169 kes (80.9 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

STATUS TERKINI KES COVID-19 DI MALAYSIA

Sehingga 28 Mei 2020 pukul 12:00 tengah hari, terdapat 10 kes baharu yang telah dilaporkan. Ini menjadikan jumlah kes positif COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 7,629 kes. Oleh itu, jumlah kes aktif dengan kebolehjangkitan COVID-19 adalah 1,345 kes. Mereka telah diasingkan dan diberi rawatan.

Setakat dilaporkan hari ini, (8) kes positif COVID-19 sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU). Daripada jumlah tersebut, empat (4) kes memerlukan bantuan pernafasan.

Daripada maklumat terkini yang dilaporkan ke Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) Kebangsaan, dimaklumkan bahawa tiada kes kematian berkaitan COVID-19 dilaporkan hari ini. Justeru, jumlah kumulatif kes kematian COVID-19 di Malaysia kekal sebanyak 115 kes (1.51 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

Ingin dimaklumkan bahawa kesemua 10 kes baharu yang dilaporkan adalah penularan tempatan, di mana lima (5) kes adalah bukan warganegara Malaysia. Tiada kes import yang mendapat jangkitan di luar negara.

KERJASAMA SERTA KEPATUHAN ORANG AWAM DAN INDUSTRI TERHADAP PROSEDUR OPERASI STANDARD (SOP)

Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Bersyarat (PKPB) yang mula berkuatkuasa pada 4 Mei 2020 adalah satu inisiatif Kerajaan dalam membuka semula ekonomi Negara secara berhati-hati dan terkawal, di samping memastikan langkah pencegahan dan pembendungan penularan COVID-19 diberi keutamaan.

Keputusan ini telah diambil selepas perbincangan dan pertimbangan pelbagai aspek terutamanya kesihatan, keselamatan dan kualiti hidup orang ramai. Susulan itu, KKM bersama Majilis Keselamatan Negara (MKN) telah membangunkan pelbagai Prosedur Operasi Standard (SOP) bagi implementasi kaedah yang menyokong norma dan kelaziman baharu.

Sehingga kini, pelbagai SOP telah diluluskan Kerajaan untuk dilaksanakan oleh pelbagai industri dan orang ramai dalam kehidupan seharian. Ini termasuk upacara keagamaan dan sambutan perayaan. Kerajaan telah berusaha keras bagi memastikan pematuhan orang ramai terhadap SOP ini, agar jumlah kes COVID-19 adalah terkawal dan pada masa yang sama industri serta aktiviti yang dibenarkan Kerajaan dapat dijalankan dengan terkawal.

Sejak hampir sebulan penguatkuasaan PKPB di negara kita, didapati jumlah kes positif COVID-19 dari 4 Mei 2020 sehingga 27 Mei 2020 adalah 1,189 kes. Daripada jumlah ini, kes di kalangan warganegara Malaysia adalah hanya 22.7 peratus iaitu 270 kes, manakala 77.3 peratus pula melibatkan kes bukan warganegara iaitu 919 kes (termasuk 383 kes bukan warganegara di dalam tiga (3) buah Depot Tahanan Imigresen).

Sejak bermulanya PKPB, didapati tren penularan COVID-19 di kalangan masyarakat setempat adalah semakin berkurangan dari minggu sebelumnya. Ini tidak mungkin dicapai tanpa kerjasama dan kepatuhan orang ramai kepada nasihat, saranan dan SOP Kerajaan, serta juga aktiviti penguatkuasaan oleh pelbagai agensi Kerajaan.

Justeru, KKM ingin mengucapkan syabas dan terima kasih kepada pelbagai industri dan orang ramai kerana sudi memikul beban bersama Kerajaan demi kepentingan komuniti dan Negara. Sekiranya usaha-usaha ini diteruskan oleh semua dengan sikap dan rasa tanggungjawab sosial, pastinya kita dapat sama-sama memutuskan rantaian penularan virus COVID-19 di Malaysia.

PENGGUNAAN FUNGSI “HOTSPOT TRACKER” DI DALAM APLIKASI MYSEJAHTERA

Bagi membantu rakyat Malaysia menyesuaikan diri dengan aktiviti harian, termasuklah dalam merancang perjalanan harian, dan mengenalpasti kawasan-kawasan berisiko di mana kes-kes COVID-19 dilaporkan, orang awam boleh menggunakan fungsi “Hotspot Tracker” melalui aplikasi MySejahtera. Fungsi ini dapat membantu rakyat mengenalpasti sekiranya terdapat kes-kes yang dilaporkan dalam lingkungan satu (1) kilometer dari kawasan yang dicari dalam tempoh 28 hari.

Rakyat disarankan supaya mengelakkan perjalanan tidak perlu (non-essential travel) ke kawasan-kawasan yang mempunyai risiko jangkitan COVID-19.

Oleh itu, fungsi ini boleh dijadikan panduan kepada setiap pengguna dalam membuat keputusan untuk bergerak dari satu tempat ke tempat yang lain. Ini sejajar dengan pemerkasaan diri (self-empowerment) individu dan rakyat Malaysia dalam membiasakan diri dengan norma dan kelaziman baharu kehidupan seharian. Masyarakat perlu jaga diri mereka, keluarga mereka dan juga komuniti sekeliling mereka bagi memastikan ianya bebas COVID-19.

Bagi yang belum memuat turun aplikasi MySejahtera, bolehlah berbuat demikian untuk menggunakan fungsi-fungsi penting, termasuk penilaian kendiri kesihatan dan juga maklumat terkini daripada CPRC KKM.

NASIHAT KESIHATAN BERKAITAN COVID-19

KKM ingin menasihatkan orang ramai supaya terus patuh kepada segala nasihat dan saranan yang sering ditekankan Kerajaan. Jadikanlah amalan-amalan berikut sebagai norma dan kebiasaan baharu dalam kehidupan seharian, antaranya:

• Elakkan 3S / 3C: iaitu elakkan kawasan yang sesak (Crowded place), elakkan kawasan yang sempit (Confined space) dan elak sembang atau bertutur dengan jarak yang dekat (Close conversation).
• Amalkan 3W: iaitu kerap mencuci tangan dengan air dan sabun (Wash), sangat digalakkan memakai alat penutup hidung dan mulut (face mask) di tempat awam atau jika bergejala (Wear), dan (Warn) iaitu amaran dari KKM yang lebih berkonsep peringatan seperti:
• • Elak bersalaman / bersentuhan;
  • Amalkan etika batuk dan bersin;
  • Dapatkan rawatan segera jika bergejala;
  • Duduk di rumah dan elakkan amalan kunjung-mengunjung;
  • Lakukan aktiviti disinfeksi dan pembersihan di kawasan yang kerap disentuh.

Selain itu, ingatlah kepada S.O.P, iaitu:

• S: Syarat-syarat seperti yang ditetapkan di bawah PKPB;
• O: Orang yang berisiko tinggi seperti kanak-kanak, bayi, warga emas dan orang kurang upaya (OKU) perlu dilindungi, individu tidak sihat dan bergejala dikehendaki segera menjalani pemeriksaan kesihatan;
• P: Penjarakan sosial (social distancing) diamalkan pada setiap masa iaitu sekurang-kurangnya 1 meter.

KKM akan terus memantau perkembangan kejadian jangkitan di dalam negara, dan juga luar negara melalui maklumat yang diperolehi daripada pihak Pertubuhan Kesihatan Sedunia (WHO). Orang ramai akan sentiasa dimaklumkan sebarang perkembangan terkini mengenainya. Begitu juga, KKM akan memastikan langkah pencegahan dan kawalan yang sewajarnya adalah dilaksanakan secara berterusan.

UPDATES ON THE CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19)

SITUATION IN MALAYSIA

Current Status of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Who Have Recovered

28 May 2020 – The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 86 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 6,169 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered (80.9% of total cumulative cases).

Current Situation of COVID-19 in Malaysia

28 May 2020, 12 pm – A total of 10 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 7,629 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 1,345 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment.

Currently, eight (8) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICU), and of these, four (4) cases are on ventilation support.

Fortunately, no additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there are 115 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.51% of total cumulative cases).

All 10 additional cases reported today are local transmission, of which five (5) are non-Malaysians. No imported cases are reported today.

The Cooperation and Compliance of the Public and Industries to the Standard Operating Procedures

The Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) enforced from 4 May 2020 is a Government initiative to cautiously re-open the country’s economy in a controlled manner, while ensuring that all prevention and control measures for COVID-19 are prioritised.

This decision was made after discussions and consideration of various aspects, especially health, safety and the quality of life of the public. Subsequently, MOH with the National Security Council (NSC) have developed various Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the implementation of measures that support the new norms and normal.

To date, various SOPs have been approved by the Government for implementation by various industries and the public in daily life. These include religious ceremonies and festive celebrations. The Government has worked hard to ensure the public’s compliance with the SOPs, so that the number of COVID-19 cases can be controlled, while at the same time the industries and activities permitted by the Government can be regulated.

Since almost a month of the enforcement of the CMCO in our country, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported from 4 May 2020 to 27 May 2020 are 1,189 cases. Of these, 270 cases (22.7%) were amongst Malaysians, while 77.3% involved non-Malaysians i.e. 919 cases, including 383 non-Malaysians in three Immigration Detention Centres.

Since the start of CMCO, it can be observed that the trend of local transmission of COVID-19 has been steadily declining from the previous weeks. This would not have been possible without the cooperation and compliance of the public to the Government’s recommendations, advisories and SOPs, as well as enforcement activities by various Government agencies.

In this regard, MOH would like to thank the various industries and the public for their willingness to bear the burden together with the Government for the benefit of the community and the Nation. If these efforts and actions are carried out by all with the sense and spirit of social responsibility, we would be able to jointly break the transmission chain of COVID-19 infection in Malaysia.

The Usage of ‘Hotspot Tracker’ Function of the MySejahtera App

To help Malaysians adapt to their daily life activities, including planning for daily trips and identifying at-risk areas where COVID-19 cases are reported, the public can use the ‘Hotspot Tracker’ function through the MySejahtera app. This function can help the public to identify if there are cases reported within a radius of one (1) kilometre of the searched location within the last 28 days.

The public is advised to avoid non-essential travel to COVID-19 infection at-risk areas.

Therefore, this function can be used as a guide by every user in making the decision to travel from one location to another. This is in line with the self-empowerment of individuals and Malaysians in adjusting to the new norms and normal of everyday life. The public needs to take care of themselves, their families and the community around them to keep it free from COVID-19.

For individuals who have not yet downloaded the MySejahtera app, please do so to enable the use of important functionalities, including self-assessment of health status and the latest update health from the National CPRC, MOH.

Health Advisory on COVID-19

MOH advises the public to continue to adhere to the advice and recommendations emphasised regularly by the Government. The public must continue to practice the new norms and normal in everyday life, including:

• Avoid the 3Cs: Crowded places; Confined spaces; and Close conversations
• Practice the 3Ws: Wash hands frequently with water and soap; Wearing facemasks are strongly encouraged in public areas or if symptomatic; Warn self and others for the following, in line with MOH’s advisories:
  • Avoid shaking hands or touching others
  • Practice good coughing and sneezing etiquette
  • Seek early treatment if symptomatic
  • Stay at home and avoid from visiting others
  • Regularly clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces in common areas

In addition, the public is advised to continue to adhere to ThIS:

• T: Terms and SOPs set under the CMCO
• Hi: High-risk groups such as children, infants, older adults and the disabled must be protected, and if unwell with symptoms, to seek early treatment
• S: Safe social distancing is practiced at all times, of at least 1 metre away from others

MOH will continue to monitor the development of the COVID-19 situation, both in the country as well as internationally, based on available information from the WHO. The public will be continuously updated on the latest information. In addition, MOH will ensure that appropriate preventive and control measures are continuously implemented.
