STATUS TERKINI KES DISAHKAN COVID-19 YANG TELAH PULIH

Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) ingin memaklumkan bahawa terdapat 281 kes yang telah pulih dan dibenarkan discaj pada hari ini. Ini merupakan jumlah discaj tertinggi yang pernah dicatat setakat ini. Jumlah kumulatif kes yang telah pulih sepenuhnya dari COVID-19 dan telah discaj daripada wad adalah sebanyak 6,975 kes (83.7 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

STATUS TERKINI KES COVID-19 DI MALAYSIA

Sehingga 9 Jun 2020 pukul 12:00 tengah hari, terdapat 7 kes baharu yang telah dilaporkan. Ini menjadikan jumlah kes positif COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 8,336 kes. Oleh itu, jumlah kes aktif dengan kebolehjangkitan COVID-19 adalah 1,244 kes. Mereka telah diasingkan dan diberi rawatan.

Ingin dimaklumkan daripada tujuh (7) kes baharu yang dilaporkan, enam (6) kes adalah kes import yang mendapat jangkitan di luar negara. Sukacita dimaklumkan bahawa pada hari ini, tiada kes penularan dalam negara dicatatkan di kalangan warganegara Malaysia. Satu (1) kes penularan di dalam negara adalah seorang pekerja bukan warganegara (iaitu kes saringan untuk mula berkerja).

Sehingga kini, sebanyak enam (6) kes positif COVID-19 sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU). Daripada jumlah tersebut, satu (1) kes memerlukan bantuan pernafasan.

Adalah dimaklumkan bahawa tiada pertambahan kes kematian berkaitan COVID-19 dilaporkan pada hari ini. Justeru, jumlah kumulatif kes kematian COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah kekal sebanyak 117 kes (1.4 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

RAKYAT MALAYSIA DIHARAP TERUS MEMATUHI PROSEDUR OPERASI STANDARD (SOP)

Seperti dimaklumkan, tiada kes penularan dalam negara di kalangan warganegara dicatatkan pada hari ini. Ini merupakan pencapaian yang boleh dibanggakan oleh Negara, setelah pelbagai usaha dilaksanakan bersama-sama oleh semua pihak dengan menggunakan pendekatan seluruh jentera Kerajaan dan masyarakat (the whole of Government and society approach).

KKM telah menggunakan maklumat terbaharu daripada jumlah kes-kes harian penularan dalam negara di kalangan warganegara dan membandingkannya dengan graf pemodelan COVID-19 seperti yang telah diramal oleh Institut Kesihatan Negara (NIH), KKM, didapati ianya adalah sejajar dengan unjuran kes harian dalam pemodelan tersebut (kawasan biru) (Lampiran 2). Ini sememangnya menggambarkan impak positif tindakan yang telah diambil oleh Kerajaan serta pematuhan Rakyat Malaysia terhadap SOP dan saranan yang diberikan Kerajaan.

Lampiran 2: Perbandingan Kes Harian COVID-19 (Kes Jangkitan Tempatan di Kalangan Warganegara Malaysia) Berbanding Unjuran Pemodelan pada 21 Mei 2020

Pihak KKM ingin mengucapkan tahniah kepada rakyat Malaysia di atas kerjasama dengan pihak Kerajaan bagi pencapaian ini, dalam usaha kita untuk sama-sama membendung penularan jangkitan COVID-19. Namun begitu, masyarakat harus kekal waspada dan terus patuh kepada SOP serta saranan yang ditetapkan bagi memastikan tiada peningkatan kes COVID-19 di kalangan masyarakat setempat.

Menuju kepada penguatkuasaan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Pemulihan (PKPP) yang akan bermula pada 10 Jun 2020, ini adalah ujian sebenar terhadap tahap disiplin kendiri dan sosial di kalangan masyarakat, dengan harapan kita dapat terus memutuskan rantaian jangkitan COVID-19 di Malaysia.

NASIHAT KESIHATAN BERKAITAN COVID-19

Pihak KKM menyeru kerjasama daripada setiap individu agar kita dapat sama-sama membendung wabak COVID-19 dan memastikan rantaian jangkitan COVID-19 diputuskan di Negara. Antara amalan-amalan yang disarankan adalah:

• Elakkan 3S / 3C:iaitu elakkan kawasan yang sesak (Crowded place), elakkan kawasan yang sempit (Confined space) dan elak sembang atau bertutur dengan jarak yang dekat (Close conversation).

• Amalkan 3W:iaitu kerap mencuci tangan dengan air dan sabun (Wash), sangat digalakkan memakai alat penutup hidung dan mulut (face mask) di tempat awam atau jika bergejala (Wear), dan (Warn) iaitu amaran dari KKM yang lebih berkonsep peringatan seperti:
  • Elak bersalaman / bersentuhan;
  • Amalkan etika batuk dan bersin;
  • Dapatkan rawatan segera jika bergejala;
  • Duduk di rumah dan elakkan kunjung-mengunjung;
  • Lakukan aktiviti disinfeksi dan pembersihan di kawasan yang kerap disentuh.

Selain itu, sentiasa ingatlah kepada S.O.P, iaitu:

• S:Syarat-syarat seperti yang ditetapkan di bawah PKPB;
• O:Orang yang berisiko tinggi seperti kanak-kanak, bayi, warga emas dan orang kurang upaya (OKU) perlu dilindungi, individu tidak sihat dan bergejala dikehendaki segera menjalani pemeriksaan kesihatan;
• P:Penjarakan sosial (social distancing) diamalkan pada setiap masa iaitu sekurang-kurangnya 1 meter.

KKM akan terus memantau perkembangan kejadian jangkitan di dalam negara, dan juga luar negara melalui maklumat yang diperolehi daripada pihak Pertubuhan Kesihatan Sedunia (WHO). Orang ramai akan sentiasa dimaklumkan sebarang perkembangan terkini mengenainya. Begitu juga, KKM akan memastikan langkah pencegahan dan kawalan yang sewajarnya adalah dilaksanakan secara berterusan.

UPDATES ON THE CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19)

SITUATION IN MALAYSIA

Current Status of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Who Have Recovered

9 June 2020 – The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 281 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. This is the highest number of cases discharged reported so far. Cumulatively, 6,975 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered (83.7% of total cumulative cases).

Current Situation of COVID-19 in Malaysia

9 June 2020, 12 pm – A total of seven (7) additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 8,336 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 1,244 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment.

Of the seven (7) additional cases reported today, six (6) are imported cases who were infected overseas. Fortunately, no local transmission case among Malaysians was reported today. The one (1) case of local transmission reported is a non-Malaysian worker, who underwent screening prior to working.

Currently, six (6) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICU), and one (1) patient is on ventilation support.

Fortunately, no additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there are now 117 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.4% of total cumulative cases).

All Malaysians Must Continue to Comply to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

As stated earlier, there was no local transmission cases among Malaysians reported today. This is an achievement that the country can be proud of, following all the efforts put together by all parties in line with the whole-of-government and whole-of-society approaches.

MOH has used the latest information on the number of daily confirmed cases reported for local transmission among Malaysians and compared these numbers with the COVID-19 projections graph produced by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) MOH. It was found to be in line with predicted additional daily cases of the projection model (Appendix 2, Figure 1, blue-coloured graph). This certainly reflects the positive impact of the actions taken by the Government and the compliance of Malaysians with the SOPs and advisories made by the Government.

MOH would like to congratulate all Malaysians for their cooperation with the Government for this achievement, in our joint efforts to control the transmission of the COVID-19 infection. However, the public must remain vigilant and continue to comply with all the SOPs and advisories to ensure that there is no increase in COVID-19 cases in the local community.

As we move towards the enforcement of the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) starting from 10 June 2020, this will be the true test of the level of self-discipline and social-discipline of individuals and the public, with the hope that we can continue to break the COVID-19 infection transmission chain in Malaysia.

Health Advisory on COVID-19

MOH urges the cooperation of every individual so that together we can prevent the COVID-19 outbreaks and break the transmission chain of the COVID-19 infection in the country. The recommended actions are:

• Avoid the 3Cs: Crowded places; Confined spaces; and Close conversations

• Practice the 3Ws: Wash hands frequently with water and soap; Wearing facemasks are strongly encouraged in public areas or if symptomatic; Warn self and others for the following, in line with MOH’s advisories:
  • Avoid shaking hands or touching others
  • Practice good coughing and sneezing etiquette
  • Seek early treatment if symptomatic
  • Stay at home and avoid from visiting others
  • Regularly clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces in common areas

In addition to the SOPs, continue to adhere to THiS:

• T: Terms set under the Conditional Movement Control Order
• Hi: High-risk groups such as children, infants, older adults and the disabled must be protected, and if unwell with symptoms, to seek early treatment
• S: Safe social distancing is practiced at all times, of at least 1 metre away from others

MOH will continue to monitor the development of the COVID-19 situation, both in the country as well as internationally, based on available information from the World Health Organization (WHO). The public will be continuously updated on the latest information. In addition, MOH will ensure that appropriate preventive and control measures are continuously implemented.
