STATUS TERKINI KES DISAHKAN COVID-19 YANG TELAH PULIH

Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) ingin memaklumkan bahawa terdapat 76 kes yang telah pulih dan dibenarkan discaj pada hari ini. Jumlah kumulatif kes yang telah pulih sepenuhnya dari COVID-19 dan telah discaj daripada wad adalah sebanyak 8,146 kes (95.2 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

STATUS TERKINI KES COVID-19 DI MALAYSIA

Sehingga 20 Jun 2020 pukul 12:00 tengah hari, terdapat 21 kes baharu yang telah dilaporkan. Ini menjadikan jumlah kes positif COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 8,556 kes. Oleh itu, jumlah kes aktif dengan kebolehjangkitan COVID-19 adalah 289 kes. Mereka telah diasingkan dan diberi rawatan.

Ingin dimaklumkan daripada 21 kes baharu yang dilaporkan, dua (2) kes adalah kes import yang mendapat jangkitan di luar negara melibatkan satu (1) warganegara Malaysia dan satu (1) bukan warganegara yang merupakan pemastautin tetap. Daripada 19 kes penularan di dalam negara, tujuh (7) kes adalah bukan warganegara manakala 12 kes adalah di kalangan warganegara Malaysia.

Bagi kes jangkitan dalam negara (7 kes) di kalangan bukan warganegara adalah:

• Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur: tujuh (7) kes kontak rapat kepada kes positif COVID-19 (kes ke-8498 dan kes ke-8523). Kesemua mereka adalah rakan serumah;

Perincian kes penularan COVID-19 dalam negara di kalangan warganegara Malaysia (12 kes) pula adalah seperti berikut:

• Selangor – 10 kes:
  • tujuh (7) kes saringan beberapa pusat tahfiz dan madrasah;
  • satu (1) kes daripada Kluster Lanjut. Kluster ini akan diperincikan di bawah;
  • satu (1) kes daripada Kluster Warga Emas Kuala Selangor. Beliau merupakan ahli keluarga kepada kes ke-8510;
  • satu (1) kes petugas barisan hadapan (bukan petugas kesihatan) di lokaliti bawah Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Secara Pentadbiran Taman Langat Murni dan Taman Langat Utama;
• Negeri Sembilan: satu (1) kes saringan Orang Kena Tahan (OKT) di Seremban sebelum dipindahkan ke penjara;
• Sabah: satu (1) kes saringan di dalam komuniti oleh Pejabat Kesihatan Kawasan. Beliau tidak bergejala dan telah dimasukkan ke Hospital Queen Elizabeth I (HQE I), Kota Kinabalu.

Sehingga kini, sebanyak tiga (3) kes positif COVID-19 sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU). Tiada kes yang memerlukan bantuan pernafasan.

Adalah dimaklumkan bahawa tiada pertambahan kes kematian berkaitan COVID-19 dilaporkan pada hari ini. Justeru, jumlah kumulatif kes kematian COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah kekal sebanyak 121 kes (1.41 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

KLUSTER COVID-19 BAHARU: KLUSTER LANJUT

KKM ingin memaklumkan satu kluster baharu yang telah dikesan di Labu Lanjut, Sepang. Sehingga kini, terdapat lima (5) kes positif COVID-19 yang telah dikesan dalam kluster ini. Kes indeks adalah merupakan seorang pesakit yang dirawat untuk Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) di Hospital Serdang di mana beliau dikesan positif pada 5 Jun 2020. Aktiviti pengesanan kes secara aktif (Active Case Detection – ACD) mendapati bahawa empat (4) ahli keluarga beliau (iaitu dua (2) orang anak dan dua (2) cucu) juga telah dikesan positif COVID-19. Tiga (3) ahli keluarga tinggal serumah dengan beliau manakala seorang lagi dari tempat kediaman yang lain.

Siasatan dan saringan kontak rapat terus dijalankan di mana setakat ini seramai 29 orang telah dikenalpasti dan disaring. 25 kontak rapat didapati negatif COVID-19. Punca jangkitan kluster ini adalah masih dalam siasatan, namun penularan COVID-19 disyaki mungkin berkaitan dengan aktiviti kunjung-mengunjung.

NASIHAT KESIHATAN BERKAITAN COVID-19

KKM ingin mengingatkan masyarakat bahawa bahaya jangkitan COVID-19 adalah masih wujud di dalam komuniti. KKM juga menyeru masyarakat agar sentiasa mengambil langkah-langkah pencegahan jangkitan COVID-19 apabila melakukan aktiviti kunjung-mengunjung, terutama apabila melibatkan warga emas dan kanak-kanak.

Terus amalkan nasihat-nasihat kesihatan yang disarankan oleh KKM iaitu:

• Elakkan 3S / 3C:iaitu elakkan kawasan yang sesak (Crowded place), elakkan kawasan yang sempit (Confined space) dan elak sembang atau bertutur dengan jarak yang dekat (Close conversation).

• Amalkan 3W:iaitu kerap mencuci tangan dengan air dan sabun (Wash), sangat digalakkan memakai alat pelitup separuh muka (penutup hidung dan mulut – face mask) di tempat awam atau jika bergejala (Wear), dan (Warn) iaitu amaran dari KKM yang lebih berkonsep peringatan seperti:
  • Elak bersalaman / bersentuhan;
  • Amalkan etika batuk dan bersin;
  • Dapatkan rawatan segera jika bergejala;
  • Duduk di rumah dan elakkan kunjung-mengunjung;
  • Lakukan aktiviti disinfeksi dan pembersihan di kawasan yang kerap disentuh.

Selain itu, sentiasa ingatlah kepada S.O.P, iaitu:

• S: Syarat-syarat seperti yang ditetapkan di bawah PKPB;
• O: Orang yang berisiko tinggi seperti kanak-kanak, bayi, warga emas dan orang kurang upaya (OKU) perlu dilindungi, individu tidak sihat dan bergejala dikehendaki segera menjalani pemeriksaan kesihatan;
• P: Penjarakan sosial (social distancing) diamalkan pada setiap masa iaitu sekurang-kurangnya 1 meter.

KKM akan terus memantau perkembangan kejadian jangkitan di dalam negara, dan juga luar negara melalui maklumat yang diperolehi daripada pihak Pertubuhan Kesihatan Sedunia (WHO). Orang ramai akan sentiasa dimaklumkan sebarang perkembangan terkini mengenainya. Begitu juga, KKM akan memastikan langkah pencegahan dan kawalan yang sewajarnya adalah dilaksanakan secara berterusan.

UPDATES ON THE CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19)

SITUATION IN MALAYSIA

Current Status of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Who Have Recovered

20 June 2020 – The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 76 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 8,146 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered (95.2% of total cumulative cases).

Current Situation of COVID-19 in Malaysia

20 June 2020, 12 pm – A total of 21 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 8,556 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 289 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment.

Of the 21 additional cases reported today, two (2) are imported cases who were infected overseas involving one (1) Malaysian and one (1) non-Malaysian permanent resident. Of the 19 local transmission cases, seven (7) cases are non-Malaysians while 12 cases are among Malaysians.

Details of the non-Malaysian local transmission cases (7 cases) are as follows:

• Kuala Lumpur – 7 cases: Close contacts (of same household) to confirmed COVID-19 cases (Cases 8,498 and 8,523).

Details of the Malaysian local transmission cases (12 cases) are as follows:

• Selangor – 10 cases:
  • 7 cases: Screening at several religious schools.
  • 1 case: From the Lanjut Cluster (elaborated below).
  • 1 case: From the Kuala Selangor Senior Care Facility Cluster; close contact (family member) of Case 8,510.
  • 1 case: Frontliner (non-health) at the locality under Administrative Movement Control Order in Taman Langat Murni and Taman Langat Utama
• Negeri Sembilan – 1 case: Screening of a detainee in Seremban prior to transfer to prison
• Sabah – 1 case: Screening in the community by the Area Health Office. Case was asymptomatic and has been admitted into Queen Elizabeth I Hospital, Kota Kinabalu.

Currently, three (3) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICUs), and no patient is on ventilation support.

Fortunately, no additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there are now 121 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.41% of total cumulative cases).

New COVID-19 Cluster: Lanjut Cluster

MOH would like to inform that a new cluster that has been detected at Labu Lanjut, Sepang. To date, five (5) confirmed COVID-19 cases have been detected in this cluster. The index case was a patient treated for Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) in Serdang Hospital where he was found to be positive for COVID-19 on 5 June 2020. Active Case Detection (ACD) found that four (4) of the family members (i.e. 2 children and 2 grandchildren) were also positive for COVID-19. Three (3) of these family members lived in the same household, with the other lived elsewhere.

Investigation and screening of close contacts are being carried out, and so far, a total of 29 individuals have been identified and screened. Of these, 25 individuals tested negative for COVID-19. The cause of infection for this cluster is still under investigation, however it is suspected to be related to visitation activity.

Health Advisory on COVID-19

MOH would like to remind the public that the dangers of COVID-19 infection still exists in the community. MOH also urges the public to always take measures to prevent COVID-19 infection when visiting others, particularly visiting or involving older adults and children.

The general public is reminded to always follow the health advisories repeatedly mentioned by the MOH, that includes:

• Avoid the 3Cs: Crowded places; Confined spaces; and Close conversations

• Practice the 3Ws: Wash hands frequently with water and soap; Wearing facemasks are strongly encouraged in public areas or if symptomatic; Warn self and others for the following, in line with MOH’s advisories:
  • Avoid shaking hands or touching others
  • Practice good coughing and sneezing etiquette
  • Seek early treatment if symptomatic
  • Stay at home and avoid from visiting others
  • Regularly clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces in common areas

In addition to the SOPs, continue to adhere to THiS:

• T: Terms set under the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO)
• Hi: High-risk groups such as children, infants, older adults and the disabled must be protected, and if unwell with symptoms, to seek early treatment
• S: Safe social distancing is practiced at all times, of at least 1 metre away from others

MOH will continue to monitor the development of the COVID-19 situation, both in the country as well as internationally, based on available information from the World Health Organization (WHO). The public will be continuously updated on the latest information. In addition, MOH will ensure that appropriate preventive and control measures are continuously implemented.
