Kenyataan Akhbar KPK 21 Jun 2020 – Situasi Semasa Jangkitan Penyakit Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) di Malaysia

STATUS TERKINI KES DISAHKAN COVID-19 YANG TELAH PULIH

Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) ingin memaklumkan bahawa terdapat 10 kes yang telah pulih dan dibenarkan discaj pada hari ini. Jumlah kumulatif kes yang telah pulih sepenuhnya dari COVID-19 dan telah discaj daripada wad adalah sebanyak 8,156 kes (95.1 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

STATUS TERKINI KES COVID-19 DI MALAYSIA

Sehingga 21 Jun 2020 pukul 12:00 tengah hari, terdapat 16 kes baharu yang telah dilaporkan. Ini menjadikan jumlah kes positif COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 8,572 kes. Oleh itu, jumlah kes aktif dengan kebolehjangkitan COVID-19 adalah 295 kes. Mereka telah diasingkan dan diberi rawatan.

Ingin dimaklumkan daripada 16 kes baharu yang dilaporkan, tiga (3) kes adalah kes import yang mendapat jangkitan di luar negara melibatkan dua (2) warganegara Malaysia dan satu (1) bukan warganegara yang merupakan pemastautin tetap. Daripada 13 kes penularan di dalam negara, sembilan (9) kes adalah bukan warganegara manakala hanya empat (4) kes adalah di kalangan warganegara Malaysia.

Kes jangkitan dalam negara (9 kes) di kalangan bukan warganegara adalah seperti berikut:

  • Selangor: dua (2) kes kontak rapat kepada kes positif COVID-19 (kes ke-8513). Kesemua mereka adalah daripada Kluster Syarikat Pembersihan;
  • Negeri Sembilan: enam (6) kes daripada Kluster Pedas;
  • Sabah: satu (1) kes daripada saringan tahanan di Pusat Tahanan Sementara Tawau sebelum penghantaran pulang ke Indonesia.

Perincian kes penularan COVID-19 dalam negara di kalangan warganegara Malaysia (4 kes) pula adalah seperti berikut:

  • Sarawak: dua (2) kes merupakan kontak rapat kepada kes positif COVID-19 (kes ke-8535). Kedua-dua mereka adalah daripada Kluster Kidurong;
  • Melaka: satu (1) kes daripada saringan Orang Kena Tuduh (OKT) yang baru dimasukkan ke lokap;
  • Johor: satu (1) kes saringan pra pembedahan di hospital.

Sehingga kini, sebanyak tiga (3) kes positif COVID-19 sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU). Tiada kes yang memerlukan bantuan pernafasan.

Adalah dimaklumkan bahawa tiada pertambahan kes kematian berkaitan COVID-19 dilaporkan pada hari ini. Justeru, jumlah kumulatif kes kematian COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah kekal sebanyak 121 kes (1.41 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

DAPATKAN MAKLUMAT COVID-19 YANG SAHIH DAN TERKINI DARI SUMBER YANG DIPERCAYAI

Bagi mendapatkan maklumat lanjut dan terkini mengenai perkembangan COVID-19 di Malaysia, bolehlah melayari Laman Web COVID-19 iaitu http://covid-19.moh.gov.my/ . Laman web ini telah mulai beroperasi (go live) pada 5 Mei 2020 dan hebahan mengenainya telah diwar-warkan melalui Portal Rasmi KKM dan kemudiannya telah diperluaskan melalui media sosial KKM iaitu Facebook KKM, Telegram, Instagram dan Twitter.

Setelah lebih sebulan beroperasi, capaian Laman Web Covid-19 adalah lebih kurang 60,000 pengguna dan kini ia berada di tempat pertama dalam enjin carian google. Maklumat lanjut mengenai kejadian COVID-19 di Malaysia boleh juga didapati melalui saluran telegram Kesihatan Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) KKM dan juga laman web Bahagian Pendidikan Kesihatan, KKM.

Sehingga 20 Jun 2020, statistik daripada pihak Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia (SKMM) menunjukkan bahawa tiada pertambahan kertas siasatan baharu yang dibuka oleh Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) dan SKMM dalam tempoh lebih 3 minggu yang lepas. Ini menunjukkan bahawa kesedaran masyarakat telah meningkat akan kepentingan tidak berkongsi berita palsu.

Orang ramai diingatkan supaya berhati-hati sebelum menyebarkan sebarang kandungan yang diragui kesahihannya dan boleh menyalurkan maklumat kepada PRP di talian 03-8911 5103 atau layari www.sebenarnya.my untuk menyemak kesahihan berita. Setakat 20 Jun 2020, jumlah layaran portal ini telah mencecah 137.6 juta.

NASIHAT KESIHATAN BERKAITAN COVID-19

KKM ingin mengingatkan masyarakat bahawa bahaya jangkitan COVID-19 adalah masih wujud di dalam komuniti. KKM juga menyeru masyarakat agar sentiasa mengambil langkah-langkah pencegahan jangkitan COVID-19 apabila melakukan aktiviti kunjung-mengunjung, terutama apabila melibatkan warga emas dan kanak-kanak.

Terus amalkan nasihat-nasihat kesihatan yang disarankan oleh KKM iaitu:

  • Elakkan 3S / 3C:iaitu elakkan kawasan yang sesak (Crowded place), elakkan kawasan yang sempit (Confined space) dan elak sembang atau bertutur dengan jarak yang dekat (Close conversation).

  • Amalkan 3W:iaitu kerap mencuci tangan dengan air dan sabun (Wash), sangat digalakkan memakai alat pelitup separuh muka (penutup hidung dan mulut – face mask) di tempat awam atau jika bergejala (Wear), dan (Warn) iaitu amaran dari KKM yang lebih berkonsep peringatan seperti:
    • Elak bersalaman / bersentuhan;
    • Amalkan etika batuk dan bersin;
    • Dapatkan rawatan segera jika bergejala;
    • Duduk di rumah dan elakkan kunjung-mengunjung;
    • Lakukan aktiviti disinfeksi dan pembersihan di kawasan yang kerap disentuh.

Selain itu, sentiasa ingatlah kepada S.O.P, iaitu:

  • S: Syarat-syarat seperti yang ditetapkan di bawah PKPB;
  • O: Orang yang berisiko tinggi seperti kanak-kanak, bayi, warga emas dan orang kurang upaya (OKU) perlu dilindungi, individu tidak sihat dan bergejala dikehendaki segera menjalani pemeriksaan kesihatan;
  • P: Penjarakan sosial (social distancing) diamalkan pada setiap masa iaitu sekurang-kurangnya 1 meter.

KKM akan terus memantau perkembangan kejadian jangkitan di dalam negara, dan juga luar negara melalui maklumat yang diperolehi daripada pihak Pertubuhan Kesihatan Sedunia (WHO). Orang ramai akan sentiasa dimaklumkan sebarang perkembangan terkini mengenainya. Begitu juga, KKM akan memastikan langkah pencegahan dan kawalan yang sewajarnya adalah dilaksanakan secara berterusan.

UPDATES ON THE CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19)

SITUATION IN MALAYSIA

Current Status of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Who Have Recovered

21 June 2020 – The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 10 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 8,156 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered (95.1% of total cumulative cases).

Current Situation of COVID-19 in Malaysia

21 June 2020, 12 pm – A total of 16 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 8,572 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 295 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment.

Of the 16 additional cases reported today, three (3) are imported cases who were infected overseas involving two (2) Malaysians and one (1) non-Malaysian permanent resident. Of the 13 local transmission cases, nine (9) cases are non-Malaysians while four (4) cases are among Malaysians.

Details of the non-Malaysian local transmission cases (9 cases) are as follows:

  • Selangor – 2 cases: Close contacts to a confirmed COVID-19 case (Case 8,513); from the Cleaning Services Company Cluster.
  • Negeri Sembilan – 6 cases: From the Pedas Cluster.
  • Sabah – 1 case: Screening of detainees at the Tawau Temporary Detention Centre, prior to sending back to Indonesia.

Details of the Malaysian local transmission cases (4 cases) are as follows:

  • Sarawak – 2 cases: Close contacts to a confirmed COVID-19 case (Case 8,535); from the Kidurong Cluster.
  • Melaka – 1 case: Screening of a criminal suspect who was recently imprisoned.
  • Johor – 1 case: Pre-surgical screening at a hospital.

Currently, three (3) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICUs), and no patient is on ventilation support.

Fortunately, no additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there are now 121 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.41% of total cumulative cases).

The site went live on 5 May 2020 and the launch was announced and promoted on MOH’s official portal and later through MOH’s social media channels i.e. MOH’s Facebook, Telegram, Instagram and Twitter.

After over a month, the COVID-19 website has about 60,000 users and is now ranked first in the Google search engine. Further information on COVID-19 in Malaysia is also available through the CPRC MOH’s Telegram channel as well as the Health Education Division MOH’s website.

As of 20 June 2020, statistics from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) showed that there are no new investigation papers opened by the Royal Malaysian Police and MCMC over the last 3 weeks. This shows that public awareness has increased on the importance of not sharing fake news.

The public is advised to be vigilant before disseminating any unverified information, and may channel the information to the Rapid Response Team (of the Ministry of Communication and Multimedia) at 03-89115103 or visit www.sebenarnya.my for verification. As of 20 June 2020, the portal has recorded 137.6 million hits.

Health Advisory on COVID-19

MOH would like to remind the public that the dangers of COVID-19 infection still exists in the community. MOH also urges the public to always take measures to prevent COVID-19 infection when visiting others, particularly visiting or involving older adults and children.

The general public is reminded to always follow the health advisories repeatedly mentioned by the MOH, that includes:

  • Avoid the 3Cs: Crowded places; Confined spaces; and Close conversations

  • Practice the 3Ws: Wash hands frequently with water and soap; Wearing facemasks are strongly encouraged in public areas or if symptomatic; Warn self and others for the following, in line with MOH’s advisories:
    • Avoid shaking hands or touching others
    • Practice good coughing and sneezing etiquette
    • Seek early treatment if symptomatic
    • Stay at home and avoid from visiting others
    • Regularly clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces in common areas

In addition to the SOPs, continue to adhere to THiS:

  • T: Terms set under the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO)
  • Hi: High-risk groups such as children, infants, older adults and the disabled must be protected, and if unwell with symptoms, to seek early treatment
  • S: Safe social distancing is practiced at all times, of at least 1 metre away from others

MOH will continue to monitor the development of the COVID-19 situation, both in the country as well as internationally, based on available information from the World Health Organization (WHO). The public will be continuously updated on the latest information. In addition, MOH will ensure that appropriate preventive and control measures are continuously implemented.
