STATUS TERKINI KES DISAHKAN COVID-19 YANG TELAH PULIH

Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) ingin memaklumkan bahawa terdapat 21 kes yang telah pulih dan dibenarkan discaj pada hari ini. Jumlah kumulatif kes yang telah pulih sepenuhnya dari COVID-19 dan telah discaj daripada wad adalah sebanyak 8,177 kes (95.2 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

STATUS TERKINI KES COVID-19 DI MALAYSIA

Sehingga 22 Jun 2020 pukul 12:00 tengah hari, terdapat 15 kes baharu yang telah dilaporkan. Ini menjadikan jumlah kes positif COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 8,587 kes. Oleh itu, jumlah kes aktif dengan kebolehjangkitan COVID-19 adalah 289 kes. Mereka telah diasingkan dan diberi rawatan.

Ingin dimaklumkan daripada kes baharu yang dilaporkan, dua (2) kes adalah kes import yang mendapat jangkitan di luar negara di mana mereka adalah warganegara Malaysia. Tiada kes penularan di dalam negara di kalangan warganegara. Kesemua 13 kes penularan di dalam negara adalah di kalangan bukan warganegara.

Perincian kes jangkitan dalam negara (13 kes) di kalangan bukan warganegara adalah seperti berikut:

• Selangor: satu (1) kes saringan pra pembedahan di Hospital Selayang;
• Negeri Sembilan: 12 kes daripada Kluster Pedas. Status terkini kluster ini akan diperincikan di bawah;

Sehingga kini, sebanyak dua (2) kes positif COVID-19 sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU). Tiada kes yang memerlukan bantuan pernafasan.

Adalah dimaklumkan bahawa tiada pertambahan kes kematian berkaitan COVID-19 dilaporkan pada hari ini. Justeru, jumlah kumulatif kes kematian COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah kekal sebanyak 121 kes (1.41 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

STATUS TERKINI KLUSTER PEDAS

Sehingga 22 Jun 2020 jam 12 tengah hari, sebanyak 316 kes positif telah dilaporkan di kluster ini daripada jumlah 957 saringan (iaitu 844 kontak di tempat kerja dan 113 ahli keluarga). Kes-kes positif kluster ini melibatkan 14 kes di kalangan warga Malaysia dan 302 kes bukan warganegara iaitu:

• 163 kes warga Nepal;
• 67 kes warga Bangladesh;
• 35 kes warga Myanmar;
• 31 kes warga Indonesia;
• 4 kes warga India;
• 1 kes warga Vietnam; dan
• 1 kes warga Kemboja.

Mengimbas kembali, kluster ini telah bermula di kalangan pekerja warganegara Malaysia dan kemudiannya berjangkit serta menular di kalangan pekerja bukan warganegara. Seperti yang dimaklumkan sebelum ini, situasi tempat kediaman yang sesak dan sempit bagi golongan bukan warganegara sememangnya merupakan faktor utama penularan di kalangan mereka. Susulan itu, pekerja yang terlibat dalam kluster ini telahpun diasingkan di pusat kuarantin. Mereka adalah terasing daripada masyarakat dan tidak memberi risiko kepada umum.

Ingin dimaklumkan bahawa kes-kes positif baharu kluster ini (12 kes) telah dikesan hasil daripada saringan COVID-19 yang kelima dalam tempoh mereka di pusat kuarantin.

NASIHAT KESIHATAN BERKAITAN COVID-19

Walaupun semakin banyak kawasan di Negara kini bertukar menjadi zon hijau dan zon kuning, namun KKM ingin mengingatkan masyarakat bahawa kes COVID-19 masih berada dalam kalangan komuniti kita. Justeru, aktiviti-aktiviti survelan di komuniti akan diteruskan untuk mengesan kes-kes COVID-19.

Masyarakat diseru supaya mengamalkan kawalan kendiri dan tanggungjawab sosial pada setiap masa. Orang ramai juga diminta sentiasa berwaspada dan mengamalkan langkah-langkah pencegahan jangkitan COVID-19 tidak kira di mana anda berada. Terus amalkan nasihat-nasihat kesihatan yang disarankan oleh KKM iaitu:

• Elakkan 3S / 3C:iaitu elakkan kawasan yang sesak (Crowded place), elakkan kawasan yang sempit (Confined space) dan elak sembang atau bertutur dengan jarak yang dekat (Close conversation).

• Amalkan 3W: iaitu kerap mencuci tangan dengan air dan sabun (Wash), sangat digalakkan memakai alat pelitup separuh muka (penutup hidung dan mulut – face mask) di tempat awam atau jika bergejala (Wear), dan (Warn) iaitu amaran dari KKM yang lebih berkonsep peringatan seperti:
  • Elak bersalaman / bersentuhan;
  • Amalkan etika batuk dan bersin;
  • Dapatkan rawatan segera jika bergejala;
  • Duduk di rumah dan elakkan kunjung-mengunjung;
  • Lakukan aktiviti disinfeksi dan pembersihan di kawasan yang kerap disentuh.

Selain itu, ingatlah kepada S.O.P, iaitu:

• S: Syarat-syarat seperti yang ditetapkan di bawah PKPB;
• O: Orang yang berisiko tinggi seperti kanak-kanak, bayi, warga emas dan orang kurang upaya (OKU) perlu dilindungi, individu tidak sihat dan bergejala dikehendaki segera menjalani pemeriksaan kesihatan;
• P: Penjarakan sosial (social distancing) diamalkan pada setiap masa iaitu sekurang-kurangnya 1 meter.

KKM akan terus memantau perkembangan kejadian jangkitan di dalam negara, dan juga luar negara melalui maklumat yang diperolehi daripada pihak Pertubuhan Kesihatan Sedunia (WHO). Orang ramai akan sentiasa dimaklumkan sebarang perkembangan terkini mengenainya. Begitu juga, KKM akan memastikan langkah pencegahan dan kawalan yang sewajarnya adalah dilaksanakan secara berterusan.

UPDATES ON THE CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19)

SITUATION IN MALAYSIA

Current Status of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Who Have Recovered

22 June 2020 – The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 21 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 8,177 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered (95.2% of total cumulative cases).

Current Situation of COVID-19 in Malaysia

22 June 2020, 12 pm – A total of 15 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 8,587 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 289 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment.

Of the additional cases reported today, two (2) are imported cases who were infected overseas involving Malaysians. There are no local transmissions among Malaysians reported today. All 13 local transmission cases are non-Malaysians.

Details of the non-Malaysian local transmission cases (13 cases) are as follows:

• Selangor – 1 case: Pre-surgery screening in Selayang Hospital.
• Negeri Sembilan – 12 cases: From the Pedas Cluster; the details are described below.

Currently, two (2) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICUs), and no patient is on ventilation support.

Fortunately, no additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there are now 121 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.41% of total cumulative cases).

Current Status of the Pedas Cluster

As of 22 June 2020, 12 pm, a total of 316 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been reported in this cluster, out of 957 individuals screened (i.e. 844 close contacts at work and 113 family members). The confirmed cases included 14 cases among Malaysians and 302 cases among non-Malaysians, details as follows:

• 163 Nepalese nationals
• 67 Bangladeshi nationals
• 35 Myanmar nationals
• 31 Indonesian nationals
• 4 Indian nationals
• 1 Vietnamese national
• 1 Cambodian national

Looking back, this cluster started among Malaysian workers and subsequently spread among the non-Malaysian workers. As previously stated, the crowded and confined living quarters for the non-Malaysian workers were a major contributing factor for disease transmission. Subsequently, the workers in this cluster have been isolated in the quarantine centre. They are isolated from the local community and therefore do not post any infection risk to the public.

MOH would like to inform that the additional confirmed COVID-19 cases reported today for this cluster (12 cases) were detected from the fifth round of COVID-19 screening during their period of stay at the quarantine centre.

Health Advisory on COVID-19

Although more and more localities throughout the country are now turning into Green and Yellow Zones, MOH would like to remind the public that COVID-19 still exists in the community. As such, community surveillance will be continued to detect COVID-19 cases early.

The public is called upon to exercise self-control and take on social responsibility at all times. The public must also remain vigilant and practice COVID-19 infection prevention measures at all times and place; and continue to take measures and follow advisories issued by MOH, that includes:

• Avoid the 3Cs: Crowded places; Confined spaces; and Close conversations

• Practice the 3Ws: Wash hands frequently with water and soap; Wearing facemasks are strongly encouraged in public areas or if symptomatic; Warn self and others for the following, in line with MOH’s advisories:
  • Avoid shaking hands or touching others
  • Practice good coughing and sneezing etiquette
  • Seek early treatment if symptomatic
  • Stay at home and avoid from visiting others
  • Regularly clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces in common areas

In addition to the SOPs, continue to adhere to THiS:

• T: Terms set under the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO)
• Hi: High-risk groups such as children, infants, older adults and the disabled must be protected, and if unwell with symptoms, to seek early treatment
• S: Safe social distancing is practiced at all times, of at least 1 metre away from others

MOH will continue to monitor the development of the COVID-19 situation, both in the country as well as internationally, based on available information from the World Health Organization (WHO). The public will be continuously updated on the latest information. In addition, MOH will ensure that appropriate preventive and control measures are continuously implemented.
