Kenyataan Akhbar KPK 28 Jun 2020 – Situasi Semasa Jangkitan Penyakit Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) di Malaysia

STATUS TERKINI KES DISAHKAN COVID-19 YANG TELAH PULIH

Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) ingin memaklumkan bahawa terdapat 10 kes yang telah pulih dan dibenarkan discaj pada hari ini. Jumlah kumulatif kes yang telah pulih sepenuhnya dari COVID-19 dan telah discaj daripada wad adalah sebanyak 8,318 kes (96.3 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

STATUS TERKINI KES COVID-19 DI MALAYSIA

Sehingga 28 Jun 2020 pukul 12:00 tengah hari, terdapat 18 kes baharu yang telah dilaporkan. Ini menjadikan jumlah kes positif COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 8,634 kes. Oleh itu, jumlah kes aktif dengan kebolehjangkitan COVID-19 adalah 195 kes. Mereka telah diasingkan dan diberi rawatan.

Ingin dimaklumkan daripada 18 kes baharu yang dilaporkan, empat (4) kes adalah kes import yang mendapat jangkitan di luar negara yang melibatkan tiga (3) orang warganegara Malaysia dan seorang bukan warganegara yang merupakan pemastautin atau dibenarkan masuk ke Malaysia di atas urusan kerja. Daripada 14 kes penularan di dalam negara, kesemua kes adalah di kalangan bukan warganegara Malaysia dan tiada kes di kalangan warganegara Malaysia.

Kes jangkitan dalam negara di kalangan bukan warganegara Malaysia (14 kes) adalah seperti berikut:

  • Negeri Sembilan: Sembilan (9) kes adalah kes saringan ulangan bagi Kluster Pedas;
  • Selangor: dua (2) kes saringan Kluster Depot Tahanan Imigresen (DTI) Sepang;
  • Sabah: dua (2) kes saringan iaitu satu (1) kes saringan ke atas banduan sebelum dibebaskan dari penjara dan satu (1) kes Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) dari Klinik Kesihatan ke hospital;
  • Kuala Lumpur: satu (1) kes saringan masuk kerja di tapak pembinaan.

Sehingga kini, sebanyak dua (2) kes positif COVID-19 yang sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU). Tiada kes yang memerlukan bantuan alat pernafasan.

Adalah dimaklumkan bahawa tiada pertambahan kes kematian berkaitan COVID-19 dilaporkan pada hari ini. Justeru, jumlah kumulatif kes kematian COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah kekal sebanyak 121 kes (1.40 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

KES POSITIF DI KALANGAN BUKAN WARGANEGARA MALAYSIA

KKM ingin memaklumkan bahawa sehingga 27 Jun 2020, seramai 60,298 orang bukan warganegara Malaysia telah disaring. Daripada jumlah tersebut, seramai 2,575 kes (4.3 peratus) dikesan positif COVID-19, 57,441 kes (95.3 peratus) adalah negatif dan 282 kes (0.4 peratus) masih menunggu keputusan. Bagi kes positif di kalangan bukan warganegara Malaysia, seramai 105 kes (4.1 peratus) masih dalam rawatan, 2,465 kes (95.7 peratus) yang telah pulih dan dibenarkan discaj dan kumulatif kes kematian COVID-19 adalah sebanyak lima (5) kes (0.2 peratus).

Pada hari ini, majoriti kes positif yang dilaporkan adalah di kalangan bukan warganegara Malaysia. Sembilan (9) kes positif adalah saringan ulangan daripada Kluster Pedas di Negeri Sembilan dan Melaka. Mereka sememangnya telah dikuarantinkan kerana telah terdedah kepada kes positif sebelum ini. Sehingga 28 Jun 2020, seramai 957 telah disaring dan setakat ini didapati 326 kes (34.1 peratus) dikesan positif COVID-19. Daripada jumlah tersebut, seramai 312 kes (95.7 peratus) adalah di kalangan bukan warganegara Malaysia.

Mengambilkira kini Malaysia memasuki fasa pemulihan, pelbagai Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) telah dibangunkan untuk setiap sektor. Majikan perlu memainkan peranan masing-masing untuk memastikan SOP dilaksanakan dengan betul dan terus bekerjasama dengan pihak KKM dengan mengambil langkah-langkah bagi mencegah penularan COVID-19 khususnya di kalangan warga asing.

NASIHAT KESIHATAN BERKAITAN COVID-19

KKM ingin mengingatkan masyarakat untuk terus konsisten mengamalkan nasihat-nasihat kesihatan yang disarankan oleh KKM iaitu:

  • Elakkan 3S / 3C:iaitu elakkan kawasan yang sesak (Crowded place), elakkan kawasan yang sempit (Confined space) dan elak sembang atau bertutur dengan jarak yang dekat (Close conversation).

  • Amalkan 3W:iaitu kerap mencuci tangan dengan air dan sabun (Wash), sangat digalakkan memakai alat pelitup separuh muka (penutup hidung dan mulut – facemask) di tempat awam atau jika bergejala (Wear), dan (Warn) iaitu amaran dari KKM yang lebih berkonsep peringatan seperti:
    • Elak bersalaman / bersentuhan;
    • Amalkan etika batuk dan bersin;
    • Dapatkan rawatan segera jika bergejala;
    • Duduk di rumah dan elakkan kunjung-mengunjung;
    • Lakukan aktiviti disinfeksi dan pembersihan di kawasan yang kerap disentuh.

Selain itu, ingatlah kepada S.O.P, iaitu:

  • S:Syarat-syarat seperti yang ditetapkan di bawah Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Pemulihan (PKPP);
  • O:Orang yang berisiko tinggi seperti kanak-kanak, bayi, warga emas dan orang kurang upaya (OKU) perlu dilindungi, individu tidak sihat dan bergejala dikehendaki segera menjalani pemeriksaan kesihatan;
  • P:Penjarakan sosial (social distancing) diamalkan pada setiap masa iaitu sekurang-kurangnya 1 meter.

KKM akan terus memantau perkembangan kejadian jangkitan di dalam negara, dan juga luar negara melalui maklumat yang diperolehi daripada pihak Pertubuhan Kesihatan Sedunia (WHO). Orang ramai akan sentiasa dimaklumkan sebarang perkembangan terkini mengenainya. Begitu juga, KKM akan memastikan langkah pencegahan dan kawalan yang sewajarnya adalah dilaksanakan secara berterusan.

UPDATES ON THE CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19)

Current Status of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Who Have Recovered

The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 10 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 8,318 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered and discharged well (96.3% of total cumulative cases).

Current Situation of COVID-19 in Malaysia

28 June 2020, 12 pm – A total of 18 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 8,634 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 195 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment.

Of the 18 additional cases reported today, four (4) are imported cases, involving three (3) Malaysians and one (1) non-Malaysian who is a permanent resident or with approval to enter Malaysia for work. All 14 local transmission cases are among non-Malaysians, with no local transmission among Malaysians reported today.

The details of the local transmission cases among non-Malaysians (14 cases) are as follows:

  • Negeri Sembilan – 9 cases: Repeat screening of the Pedas Cluster.
  • Selangor – 2 cases: Screening at the Sepang Immigration Detention Centre Cluster.
  • Sabah – 2 cases:
    • 1 case: Screening of prisoner prior to release from jail.
    • 1 case: Screening of a Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) case referred from a health clinic to a hospital.
  • Kuala Lumpur – 1 case: Screening prior to work at a construction site.

Currently, two (2) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICUs), and no patient is on ventilation support.

Fortunately, no additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there are now 121 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.40% of total cumulative cases).

Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Amongst Non-Malaysians

MOH would like to inform that as of 27 June 2020, a total of 60,298 non-Malaysians has been screened. Of these, 2,575 (4.3%) were confirmed COVID-19 cases, 57,441 individuals (95.3%) tested negative and 282 individuals (0.4%) are awaiting results. Of the confirmed COVID-19 cases among non-Malaysians, 105 cases (4.1%) are still hospitalised, 2,465 cases (95.7%) have fully recovered and discharged well, and cumulatively five (5) deaths (0.2%) were reported.

Today, the majority of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported are among non-Malaysians. The nine (9) cases reported today are from repeated screening in the Pedas Cluster in Negeri Sembilan and Melaka. They were already quarantined because of known prior close contact to confirmed COVID-19 cases. As of 28 June 2020, a total of 957 individuals have been screened and so far, 326 (34.1%) were confirmed COVID-19 cases. Of these, 312 cases (95.7%) were among non-Malaysians.

Considering that Malaysia has entered the recovery phase, various Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) have been developed for each sector. Employers should play their part in ensuring that these SOPs are properly implemented and continue to cooperate with the MOH by taking measures to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 infection especially among non-Malaysians.

Health Advisory on COVID-19

MOH would like to remind the public to continue to practice all of the health advisories issued by MOH, that includes:

  • Avoid the 3Cs: Crowded places; Confined spaces; and Close conversations
  • Practice the 3Ws: Wash hands frequently with water and soap; Wearing facemasks are strongly encouraged in public areas or if symptomatic; Warn self and others for the following, in line with MOH’s advisories:
    • Avoid shaking hands or touching others
    • Practice good coughing and sneezing etiquette
    • Seek early treatment if symptomatic
    • Stay at home and avoid from visiting others
    • Regularly clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces in common areas

In addition to the SOPs, continue to adhere to THiS:

  • T: Terms set under the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO)
  • Hi: High-risk groups such as children, infants, older adults and the disabled must be protected, and if unwell with symptoms, to seek early treatment
  • S: Safe social distancing is practiced at all times, of at least 1 metre away from others

MOH will continue to monitor the development of the COVID-19 situation, both in the country as well as internationally, based on available information from the World Health Organization (WHO). The public will be continuously updated on the latest information. In addition, MOH will ensure that appropriate preventive and control measures are continuously implemented.
