STATUS TERKINI KES DISAHKAN COVID-19 YANG TELAH PULIH

Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) ingin memaklumkan bahawa terdapat empat (4) kes yang telah pulih dan dibenarkan discaj pada hari ini. Jumlah kumulatif kes yang telah pulih sepenuhnya dari COVID-19 dan telah discaj daripada wad adalah sebanyak 8,465 kes (97.7 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

STATUS TERKINI KES COVID-19 DI MALAYSIA

Sehingga 5 Julai 2020 pukul 12:00 tengah hari, terdapat lima (5) kes baharu yang telah dilaporkan. Ini menjadikan jumlah kes positif COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 8,663 kes. Oleh itu, jumlah kes aktif dengan kebolehjangkitan COVID-19 adalah 77 kes. Mereka telah diasingkan dan diberi rawatan.

Ingin dimaklumkan daripada lima (5) kes baharu yang dilaporkan, tiga (3) kes adalah kes import yang mendapat jangkitan di luar negara yang melibatkan dua (2) warganegara Malaysia dan satu (1) bukan warganegara yang merupakan pemastautin tetap. Kedua-dua kes penularan di dalam negara adalah di kalangan warganegara Malaysia iaitu kes-kes saringan pra pembedahan di Hospital Queen Elizabeth, Sabah dan di sebuah pusat perubatan di Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. Tiada penularan dalam negara di kalangan bukan warganegara dilaporkan pada hari ini.

Sehingga kini, terdapat dua (2) kes positif COVID-19 yang sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU). Kedua-dua kes tersebut memerlukan bantuan pernafasan.

Adalah dimaklumkan bahawa tiada pertambahan kes kematian berkaitan COVID-19 dilaporkan pada hari ini. Justeru, jumlah kumulatif kes kematian COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah kekal sebanyak 121 kes (1.39 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

DUA (2) LAGI KLUSTER COVID-19 BERKAITAN TEMPAT KEDIAMAN TELAH TAMAT

Sukacita KKM ingin memaklumkan dua (2) lagi kluster COVID-19 yang tamat pada hari ini, iaitu Kluster Gombak dan Kluster Pangsapuri Cheras. Kedua-dua kluster ini juga merupakan kluster berkaitan tempat kediaman di kawasan Selangor dan Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur:

1. Kluster Gombak telah dilaporkan pada 18 Mei 2020 hasil daripada aktiviti pengesanan kes secara aktif (Active Case Detection) kes positif COVID-19 di sebuah kuarters kediaman di Gombak. Sehingga 4 Julai 2020, seramai 200 orang telah disaring dan didapati lima (5) kes yang positif COVID-19. Kluster ini melibatkan semua warganegara Malaysia;
2. Kluster Pangsapuri Cheras telah dilaporkan pada 1 Jun 2020 hasil daripada aktiviti pengesanan secara kes aktif (Active Case Detection) kes positif COVID-19 di sebuah pangsapuri di Cheras. Sehingga 4 Julai 2020, seramai 144 orang telah disaring dan didapati 8 kes yang positif COVID-19. Kluster ini melibatkan satu (1) kes positif warga Indonesia (iaitu daripada tiga bukan warganegara yang telah disaring) dan selebihnya adalah warganegara Malaysia.

Kes pertama kedua-dua kluster ini telah dikesan hasil saringan pelajar pusat tahfiz / maahad yang merupakan salah sebuah kumpulan sasar yang dikenalpasti berisiko tinggi. Ini adalah pendekatan tertumpu (targeted approach) yang setakat ini telah membantu mengesan banyak kes COVID-19. Sukacita dimaklumkan, daripada siasatan yang telah dijalankan, didapati tiada kes positif COVID-19 yang lain daripada kedua-dua pusat tahfiz / maahad yang terlibat ini.

KKM ingin mengucapkan syabas kepada semua pihak yang telah memberikan perkhidmatan masing-masing dalam segala aktiviti pengesanan kes dan langkah pembendungan penularan jangkitan berkaitan kluster ini.

NASIHAT KESIHATAN BERKAITAN COVID-19

Pihak KKM menyeru agar orang ramai terus kekal waspada dan amalkan nasihat-nasihat kesihatan yang disarankan oleh KKM iaitu:

• Elakkan 3S / 3C:iaitu elakkan kawasan yang sesak (Crowded place), elakkan kawasan yang sempit (Confined space) dan elak sembang atau bertutur dengan jarak yang dekat (Close conversation).

• Amalkan 3W:iaitu kerap mencuci tangan dengan air dan sabun (Wash), sangat digalakkan memakai alat pelitup separuh muka (penutup hidung dan mulut – facemask) di tempat awam atau jika bergejala (Wear), dan (Warn) iaitu amaran dari KKM yang lebih berkonsep peringatan seperti:
  • Elakkan bersalaman / bersentuhan;
  • Amalkan etika batuk dan bersin;
  • Dapatkan rawatan segera jika bergejala;
  • Duduk di rumah dan elakkan kunjung-mengunjung;
  • Lakukan aktiviti disinfeksi dan pembersihan di kawasan yang kerap disentuh.

Selain itu, ingatlah kepada S.O.P, iaitu:

• S: Syarat-syarat seperti yang ditetapkan di bawah Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Pemulihan (PKPP);
• O: Orang yang berisiko tinggi seperti kanak-kanak, bayi, warga emas dan orang kurang upaya (OKU) perlu dilindungi, individu tidak sihat dan bergejala dikehendaki segera menjalani pemeriksaan kesihatan;
• P: Penjarakan sosial (social distancing) diamalkan pada setiap masa iaitu sekurang-kurangnya 1 meter.

KKM akan terus memantau perkembangan kejadian jangkitan di dalam negara, dan juga luar negara melalui maklumat yang diperolehi daripada pihak Pertubuhan Kesihatan Sedunia (WHO). Orang ramai akan sentiasa dimaklumkan sebarang perkembangan terkini mengenainya. Begitu juga, KKM akan memastikan langkah pencegahan dan kawalan yang sewajarnya adalah dilaksanakan secara berterusan.

Current Status of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Who Have Recovered

The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that four (4) cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 8,465 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered (97.7% of total cumulative cases).

Current Situation of COVID-19 in Malaysia

5 July 2020, 12 pm – A total of five (5) additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 8,663 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 77 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment.

Of the five (5) additional cases reported today, three (3) are imported cases who were infected overseas, involving two (2) Malaysians and one (1) non-Malaysian who is a permanent resident. The two (2) local transmission cases are among Malaysians; pre-surgical screenings from Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Sabah and a medical centre in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. No local transmission among non-Malaysians are reported today.

Currently, two (2) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICUs) and both patients are on ventilation support.

Fortunately, no additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there are now 121 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.39% of total cumulative cases).

Two COVID-19 Clusters Associated with Residential Quarters Have Ended

MOH would like to inform that two (2) COVID-19 clusters have ended today i.e. the Gombak Cluster and the Cheras Apartment Cluster. Both clusters were associated with residential quarters in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.

1. The Gombak Cluster was reported on 18 May 2020 from active case detection from a confirmed COVID-19 at a living quarter in Gombak. As of 4 July 2020, a total of 200 individuals have been screened, of which five (5) confirmed COVID-19 cases were detected, all Malaysians.
2. The Cheras Apartment Cluster was reported on 1 June 2020 from active case detection from a confirmed COVID-19 case at an apartment in Cheras. As of 4 July 2020, a total of 144 individuals have been screened, of which eight (8) confirmed COVID-19 cases were detected. This cluster consisted of one (1) Indonesian national (from the 3 non-Malaysians screened) and seven (7) Malaysians.

The first cases of both clusters were detected from screening of religious school students, that is one of the target groups identified as high-risk. This is the targeted approach that has so far managed to detect many cases of COVID-19. From the investigations, no additional positive COVID-19 cases were found in both religious schools.

The MOH would like to congratulate and thank all parties involved in providing their services for contact tracing and activities to prevent further spread of the infection for both these clusters.

Health Advisory on COVID-19

MOH urges the public to remain vigilant and continue to practice all of the health advisories issued by the MOH, that includes:

• Avoid the 3Cs: Crowded places; Confined spaces; and Close conversations
• Practice the 3Ws: Wash hands frequently with water and soap; Wearing facemasks are strongly encouraged in public areas or if symptomatic; Warn self and others for the following, in line with MOH’s advisories:
  • Avoid shaking hands or touching others
  • Practice good coughing and sneezing etiquette
  • Seek early treatment if symptomatic
  • Stay at home and avoid from visiting others
  • Regularly clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces in common areas

In addition to the SOPs, continue to adhere to THiS:

• T: Terms set under the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO)
• Hi: High-risk groups such as children, infants, older adults and the disabled must be protected, and if unwell with symptoms, to seek early treatment
• S: Safe social distancing is practiced at all times, of at least 1 metre away from others

MOH will continue to monitor the development of the COVID-19 situation, both in the country as well as internationally, based on available information from the World Health Organization (WHO). The public will be continuously updated on the latest information. In addition, MOH will ensure that appropriate preventive and control measures are continuously implemented.
