STATUS TERKINI KES DISAHKAN COVID-19 YANG TELAH PULIH

Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) ingin memaklumkan bahawa terdapat 13 kes yang telah pulih dan dibenarkan discaj pada hari ini. Jumlah kumulatif kes yang telah pulih sepenuhnya dari COVID-19 dan telah discaj daripada wad adalah sebanyak 8,499 kes (97.9 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

STATUS TERKINI KES COVID-19 DI MALAYSIA

Sehingga 9 Julai 2020 pukul 12:00 tengah hari, terdapat enam (6) kes baharu yang telah dilaporkan. Ini menjadikan jumlah kes positif COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 8,683 kes. Oleh itu, jumlah kes aktif dengan kebolehjangkitan COVID-19 adalah 63 kes. Mereka telah diasingkan dan diberi rawatan.

Sukacita dimaklumkan bahawa tiada kes penularan di dalam negara yang dilaporkan pada hari ini juga. Semua enam (6) kes baharu yang dilaporkan adalah kes import yang mendapat jangkitan di luar negara, iaitu terdiri daripada lima (5) warganegara Malaysia dan satu (1) bukan warganegara yang merupakan pemastautin tetap.

Sehingga kini, terdapat dua (2) kes positif COVID-19 yang sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU). Satu (1) kes tersebut memerlukan bantuan pernafasan.

Adalah dimaklumkan bahawa tiada pertambahan kes kematian berkaitan COVID-19 dilaporkan pada hari ini. Justeru, jumlah kumulatif kes kematian COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah kekal sebanyak 121 kes (1.39 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

KLUSTER SYARIKAT PEMBERSIHAN KUALA LUMPUR DIISYTIHAR TAMAT

KKM ingin memaklumkan bahawa, Kluster Syarikat Pembersihan Kuala Lumpur telah tamat pada hari ini. Kluster ini adalah salah satu kluster tempat kerja COVID-19 yang telah dikenalpasti di Negara kita. Kluster ini telah dikesan hasil saringan 10 orang pekerja bukan warganegara. Saringan tersebut merupakan inisiatif majikan syarikat tersebut untuk menyaring pekerja-pekerja bukan warganegara mereka.

Sehingga 9 Julai 2020, seramai 33 orang telah disaring yang terdiri daripada 16 warganegara Malaysia dan 17 bukan warganegara. Daripada jumlah ini, didapati empat (4) kes yang positif COVID-19 iaitu tiga (3) pekerja syarikat dan satu (1) kontak rapat mereka. Keempat-empat kes adalah di kalangan warga Indonesia.

KKM ingin mengucapkan terima kasih di atas kerjasama majikan dalam usaha memutuskan rantaian penularan jangkitan COVID-19.

STATUS TERKINI KLUSTER TEMPAT KERJA

Setakat ini, terdapat 15 kluster yang disenaraikan di bawah kluster tempat kerja. Sebanyak 11 kluster telah diisytiharkan tamat termasuk satu (1) kluster yang tamat pada hari ini iaitu Kluster Syarikat Pembersihan Kuala Lumpur. Kluster IN merupakan kluster pertama dikesan dalam kumpulan kluster ini, iaitu pada 24 Mac 2020 apabila kes pertama dalam kluster ini dikesan positif COVID-19 (iaitu kes ke-1909).

Terdapat empat (4) buah kluster yang masih aktif. Jadual 1 menunjukkan kluster yang masih aktif dan jumlah yang disaring serta jumlah kes positif yang dikesan dalam semua kluster tersebut. Jadual 2 menunjukkan perincian kluster yang telah tamat dalam kumpulan ini:

Sehingga 9 Julai 2020 jam 12 tengah hari, secara keseluruhannya 10,362 orang telah disaring dalam semua kluster ini. Daripada jumlah ini:

• 4,242 orang adalah warganegara Malaysia (iaitu 40.9 peratus); dan
• 6120 orang melibatkan bukan warganegara (iaitu 45.3 peratus).

Jumlah keseluruhan kes positif yang dikesan dalam kluster-kluster ini adalah 722 kes yang melibatkan:

• 122 warganegara Malaysia (iaitu 16.9 peratus); dan
• 600 bukan warganegara (iaitu 83.1 peratus).

Bukan warganegara ini terdiri daripada negara-negara berikut:

• 234 warga Bangladesh;
• 212 warga Nepal;
• 109 warga Indonesia;
• 36 warga Myanmar;
• Tujuh (7) warga India;
• Satu (1) warga Kemboja; dan
• Satu (1) warga Vietnam.

Bagi industri yang menggunakan banyak tenaga kerja, termasuk daripada kalangan bukan warganegara, majikan adalah bertanggungjawab untuk memastikan pekerja mereka sentiasa mematuhi Prosedur Operasi Standard (SOP) dan mengamalkan langkah-langkah pencegahan di tempat kerja. Antara amalan-amalan yang sewajarnya dilaksanakan adalah seperti berikut:

• Pemeriksaan suhu badan dan gejala sebelum memasuki tempat kerja;
• Penyediaan tempat mencuci tangan atau hand sanitizer;
• Kerap melaksanakan proses pembersihan dan pembasmian kuman terutamanya ruang guna sama;
• Amalan jarak sosial selamat iaitu sekurang-kurangya 1 meter termasuk di ruang kerja dan ruang makan (pantry);
• Pastikan pekerja tidak berkumpul di ruang sempit (confined space);
• Elakkan terlalu ramai pekerja bersama pada satu masa (congregation); dan
• Pastikan jarak 1 meter semasa pekerja bertutur dengan satu sama lain (close conversation).

Majikan juga harus menjalankan pemantauan untuk memastikan pematuhan terhadap amalan-amalan ini di kalangan warga pekerja. Ini dapat mengelakkan daripada berlakunya penularan jangkitan COVID-19 di kalangan warga pekerja dan seterusnya dapat mencegah penularan di dalam komuniti. KKM mengharapkan kerjasama semua golongan masyarakat dalam memutuskan rantaian penularan kes COVID-19 di Malaysia.

NASIHAT KESIHATAN BERKAITAN COVID-19

Pihak KKM menyeru agar orang ramai terus kekal waspada dan amalkan nasihat-nasihat kesihatan yang disarankan oleh KKM iaitu:

• Elakkan 3S / 3C:iaitu elakkan kawasan yang sesak (Crowded place), elakkan kawasan yang sempit (Confined space) dan elak sembang atau bertutur dengan jarak yang dekat (Close conversation).

• Amalkan 3W:iaitu kerap mencuci tangan dengan air dan sabun (Wash), sangat digalakkan memakai alat pelitup separuh muka (penutup hidung dan mulut – facemask) di tempat awam atau jika bergejala (Wear), dan (Warn) iaitu amaran dari KKM yang lebih berkonsep peringatan seperti:
  • Elakkan bersalaman / bersentuhan;
  • Amalkan etika batuk dan bersin;
  • Dapatkan rawatan segera jika bergejala;
  • Duduk di rumah dan elakkan kunjung-mengunjung;
  • Lakukan aktiviti disinfeksi dan pembersihan di kawasan yang kerap disentuh.

Selain itu, ingatlah kepada S.O.P, iaitu:

• S:Syarat-syarat seperti yang ditetapkan di bawah Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Pemulihan (PKPP);
• O:Orang yang berisiko tinggi seperti kanak-kanak, bayi, warga emas dan orang kurang upaya (OKU) perlu dilindungi, individu tidak sihat dan bergejala dikehendaki segera menjalani pemeriksaan kesihatan;
• P:Penjarakan sosial (social distancing) diamalkan pada setiap masa iaitu sekurang-kurangnya 1 meter.

KKM akan terus memantau perkembangan kejadian jangkitan di dalam negara, dan juga luar negara melalui maklumat yang diperolehi daripada pihak Pertubuhan Kesihatan Sedunia (WHO). Orang ramai akan sentiasa dimaklumkan sebarang perkembangan terkini mengenainya. Begitu juga, KKM akan memastikan langkah pencegahan dan kawalan yang sewajarnya adalah dilaksanakan secara berterusan.

Current Status of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Who Have Recovered

The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 13 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 8,499 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered (97.9% of total cumulative cases).

Current Situation of COVID-19 in Malaysia

9 July 2020, 12 pm – A total of six (6) additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 8,683 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 63 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment.

No local transmission cases were reported today as well. All six (6) reported cases were imported cases who were infected overseas, of which five (5) are Malaysians and one (1) non-Malaysian who is a permanent resident.

Currently, two (2) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICUs) and one (1) patient is on ventilation support.

Fortunately, no additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there are now 121 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.39% of total cumulative cases).

Cleaning Services Company Cluster in Kuala Lumpur Ends Today

MOH would like to inform that the Kuala Lumpur Cleaning Services Company Cluster has ended today. This is one of the COVID-19 workplace clusters identified in the country. This cluster was first detected through the screening of 10 non-Malaysian workers. This screening was an initiative of the company to screen their non-Malaysian workers.

As of 9 July 2020, a total of 33 individuals has been screened, including 16 Malaysians and 17 non-Malaysians. Of these, four (4) confirmed COVID-19 cases were detected, i.e. three (3) employees and one (1) close contact. All four cases are Indonesian nationals.

MOH would like to thank the cooperation of the employer in breaking the COVID-19 infection transmission chain.

Current Status of Clusters in Workplaces

To date, there are 15 clusters reported as workplace clusters. Of these, 11 clusters have been declared closed, including the Kuala Lumpur Cleaning Services Company Cluster that ended today. The I.N. Cluster was the first cluster reported as a workplace cluster on 24 March 2020 when the first confirmed COVID-19 case was diagnosed (Case 1,909).

There are still four active workplaces clusters. Table 1 shows the active clusters, the number of individuals screened, as well as the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases for these clusters. Table 2 shows the details of the workplaces clusters that have ended.

As of 9 July 2020, 12 pm, a total of 10,362 individuals had been screened in all of these clusters. Of these:

• 4,242 Malaysians (40.9%)
• 6,120 non-Malaysians (59.1%)

A total of 722 confirmed COVID-19 cases were detected in these clusters, involving:

• 122 Malaysians (16.9%)
• 600 non-Malaysians (83.1%)

The non-Malaysians were made up of the following nationalities:

• 234 Bangladeshis
• 212 Nepalese
• 109 Indonesians
• 36 Myanmar nationals
• 7 Indians
• 1 Cambodian
• 1 Vietnamese

For industries that employ large numbers of workers including non-Malaysians, employers are responsible for ensuring that their employees adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and practice preventive measures in the workplace. Some of the practices that should be implemented are as follows:

• Body temperature check and symptoms screening before entering the workplace
• Provision of hand washing facilities or hand sanitisers
• Regular cleaning and disinfection, especially in shared spaces and of common surfaces
• Practice safe social distancing of at least 1 meter away from others, including in workspaces and pantries
• Ensure that employees do not congregate in confined spaces
• Avoid congregation of a large number of workers at any one time
• Maintain a distance of at least 1 meter away while having close conversations

Employers must also monitor to ensure compliance with all these practices among the employees. This will prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection among the workers and thus prevent the transmission of infection in the community. MOH requests continued cooperation by the public in breaking the transmission of the COVID-19 infection in Malaysia.

Health Advisory on COVID-19

MOH urges the public to remain vigilant and continue to practice all of the health advisories issued by the MOH, that includes:

• Avoid the 3Cs: Crowded places; Confined spaces; and Close conversations
• Practice the 3Ws: Wash hands frequently with water and soap; Wearing facemasks are strongly encouraged in public areas or if symptomatic; Warn self and others for the following, in line with MOH’s advisories:
  • Avoid shaking hands or touching others
  • Practice good coughing and sneezing etiquette
  • Seek early treatment if symptomatic
  • Stay at home and avoid from visiting others
  • Regularly clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces in common areas

In addition to the SOPs, continue to adhere to THiS:

• T: Terms set under the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO)
• Hi: High-risk groups such as children, infants, older adults and the disabled must be protected, and if unwell with symptoms, to seek early treatment
• S: Safe social distancing is practiced at all times, of at least 1 metre away from others

MOH will continue to monitor the development of the COVID-19 situation, both in the country as well as internationally, based on available information from the World Health Organization (WHO). The public will be continuously updated on the latest information. In addition, MOH will ensure that appropriate preventive and control measures are continuously implemented.
