STATUS TERKINI KES DISAHKAN COVID-19 YANG TELAH PULIH

Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) ingin memaklumkan bahawa terdapat empat (4) kes yang telah pulih dan dibenarkan discaj pada hari ini. Jumlah kumulatif kes yang telah pulih sepenuhnya dari COVID-19 dan telah discaj daripada wad adalah sebanyak 8,515 kes (97.8 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

STATUS TERKINI KES COVID-19 DI MALAYSIA

Sehingga 11 Julai 2020 pukul 12:00 tengah hari, terdapat lapan (8) kes baharu yang telah dilaporkan. Ini menjadikan jumlah kes positif COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 8,704 kes. Oleh itu, jumlah kes aktif dengan kebolehjangkitan COVID-19 adalah 67 kes. Mereka telah diasingkan dan diberi rawatan.

Ingin dimaklumkan daripada lapan (8) kes baharu yang dilaporkan, empat (4) kes adalah kes import yang telah mendapat jangkitan di luar negara yang melibatkan empat (4) warganegara Malaysia. Daripada empat (4) kes penularan di dalam negara pula, dua (2) kes adalah di kalangan warganegara dan dua (2) kes adalah di kalangan bukan warganegara Malaysia.

Perincian kes jangkitan dalam negara di kalangan warganegara Malaysia (2 kes) adalah seperti berikut:

• Sarawak: satu (1) kes Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) yang telah dimasukkan ke Hospital Umum Sarawak. Kes ini juga merupakan kes kematian ke-122 yang dilaporkan hari ini. Perinciannya adalah seperti di bawah;
• Sabah: satu (1) kes saringan bagi kes yang dirujuk ke hospital.

Kes jangkitan dalam negara di kalangan bukan warganegara Malaysia (2 kes) pula adalah seperti berikut:

• Selangor: dua (2) kes saringan di Depot Tahanan Imigresen (DTI) Sepang, di mana kedua-dua kes ini disaring semula sebelum proses penghantaran pulang ke negara asal.

Sehingga kini, terdapat tiga (3) kes positif COVID-19 yang sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU). Dua (2) kes adalah memerlukan bantuan pernafasan.

Daripada maklumat terkini yang dilaporkan ke Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) Kebangsaan, dukacita dimaklumkan bahawa terdapat pertambahan satu (1) lagi kes kematian berkaitan COVID-19. Justeru, jumlah kumulatif kes kematian COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 122 kes (1.40 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes):

• Kes kematian ke-122 (kes ke-8702) merupakan lelaki warganegara Malaysia berumur 72 tahun yang mempunyai penyakit darah tinggi dan kencing manis. Beliau telah mendapatkan rawatan tradisional beberapa kali sejak 3 Julai 2020 dan kemudiannya ke sebuah hospital swasta pada 9 Julai 2020. Beliau segera dipindahkan ke Hospital Umum Sarawak setelah disyaki positif COVID-19. Beliau kemudiannya disahkan positif COVID-19, kesihatan beliau terus merudum dan dimasukkan ke Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU). Beliau telah disahkan meninggal dunia pada 10 Julai 2020 jam 5.49 petang.

KKM mengucapkan takziah kepada ahli keluarga beliau.

PERSAMPELAN BAGI KES PRA PEMBEDAHAN SEBAGAI SISTEM PENGESANAN KES COVID-19 DI MALAYSIA

KKM ingin memaklumkan bahawa persampelan pra pembedahan merupakan salah satu sistem survelan yang dijalankan di Malaysia. Ia adalah bertujuan untuk mengesan awal jangkitan COVID-19 di kalangan komuniti dan seterusnya memberi amaran awal kepada pihak KKM untuk bertindak.

Survelan ini dijalankan ke atas populasi yang besar dan ia meliputi lapisan masyarakat yang tidak bergejala. Individu yang perlu menjalani pembedahan bagi kes kecemasan dan separa kecemasan di hospital KKM perlu menjalani ujian pengesanan COVID-19 terlebih dahulu. Sehingga 10 Julai 2020, sebanyak 60,952 sampel pra pembedahan telah diambil. Daripada jumlah tersebut, 21 kes telah didapati positif COVID-19 (iaitu kadar positif adalah 0.03 peratus). Peratusan kes positif kekal rendah meskipun jumlah persampelan yang tinggi menunjukkan penularan COVID-19 adalah terkawal di dalam negara.

Sistem survelan yang dinamik ini merupakan proksi yang bagus untuk mengambarkan penularan jangkitan COVID-19 di kalangan masyarakat di Malaysia. Ini adalah kerana ia meliputi semua kelompok masyarakat dan dijalankan ke atas individu-individu yang tidak bergejala. Pihak KKM akan terus memantau kes-kes COVID-19 di dalam komuniti dan memastikan kes dikesan awal dan penularan jangkitan COVID-19 dapat dibendung.

NASIHAT KESIHATAN BERKAITAN COVID-19

Dalam pada keadaan penularan COVID-19 dalam negara yang didapati terus terkawal, pihak KKM tetap mengingatkan agar orang ramai terus kekal waspada dan amalkan nasihat-nasihat kesihatan yang disarankan oleh KKM iaitu:

• Elakkan 3S / 3C:iaitu elakkan kawasan yang sesak (Crowded place), elakkan kawasan yang sempit (Confined space) dan elak sembang atau bertutur dengan jarak yang dekat (Close conversation).

• Amalkan 3W:iaitu kerap mencuci tangan dengan air dan sabun (Wash), sangat digalakkan memakai alat pelitup separuh muka (penutup hidung dan mulut – facemask) di tempat awam atau jika bergejala (Wear), dan (Warn) iaitu amaran dari KKM yang lebih berkonsep peringatan seperti:
  • Elakkan bersalaman / bersentuhan;
  • Amalkan etika batuk dan bersin;
  • Dapatkan rawatan segera jika bergejala;
  • Duduk di rumah dan elakkan kunjung-mengunjung;
  • Lakukan aktiviti disinfeksi dan pembersihan di kawasan yang kerap disentuh.

Selain itu, ingatlah kepada S.O.P, iaitu:

• S:Syarat-syarat seperti yang ditetapkan di bawah Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Pemulihan (PKPP);
• O:Orang yang berisiko tinggi seperti kanak-kanak, bayi, warga emas dan orang kurang upaya (OKU) perlu dilindungi, individu tidak sihat dan bergejala dikehendaki segera menjalani pemeriksaan kesihatan;
• P:Penjarakan sosial (social distancing) diamalkan pada setiap masa iaitu sekurang-kurangnya 1 meter.

KKM akan terus memantau perkembangan kejadian jangkitan di dalam negara, dan juga luar negara melalui maklumat yang diperolehi daripada pihak Pertubuhan Kesihatan Sedunia (WHO). Orang ramai akan sentiasa dimaklumkan sebarang perkembangan terkini mengenainya. Begitu juga, KKM akan memastikan langkah pencegahan dan kawalan yang sewajarnya adalah dilaksanakan secara berterusan.

Current Status of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Who Have Recovered

The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that four (4) cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 8,515 confirmed COVID-19 cases have recovered (97.8% of total cumulative cases).

Current Situation of COVID-19 in Malaysia

11 July 2020, 12 pm – A total of eight (8) additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 8,704 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 67 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment.

Of the eight (8) additional cases reported today, four (4) are imported cases where infected overseas, all are Malaysians. Of the four (4) local transmission cases, two (2) are among Malaysians and two (2) are among non-Malaysians.

The details of the local transmission cases among Malaysians (2 cases) are as follows:

• Sarawak – 1 case: Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) patient admitted into Sarawak General Hospital. This patient is also death #122 reported today, detail shown below.
• Sabah – 1 case: Screening of a patient who was referred to a hospital.

The details of the local transmission cases among non-Malaysians (2 cases) are as follows:

• Selangor – 2 cases: Screening of detainees at the Sepang Immigration Detention Centre prior to repatriation to the country of origin.

Currently, three (3) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICUs) and two (2) patients are on ventilation support.

Regretfully, one (1) additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there are now 122 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.40% of total cumulative cases):

• Death #122 (Case 8,702) is a 72 year-old Malaysian man who has a history of hypertension and diabetes. He sought traditional treatment on several occasions since 3 July 2020 and at a private hospital on 9 July 2020. He was then immediately transferred to Sarawak General Hospital due to suspected COVID-19 infection. He was subsequently confirmed to have COVID-19 infection, his health deteriorated further, and he was transferred to the ICU. He was pronounced dead on 10 July 2020, 5.49 pm.

Pre-Surgery Sampling as a COVID-19 Surveillance System in Malaysia

MOH wishes to inform that pre-surgery sampling is one of the COVID-19 surveillance system in Malaysia. It aims to detect early COVID-19 infection in the community and provide early warning for the MOH to take immediate action.

This surveillance is conducted on a large population and covers all levels of the society who are asymptomatic. Individuals who need to undergo emergency or semi-emergency surgery in MOH hospitals would be tested for COVID-19 first. As of 10 July 2020, a total of 60,952 pre-surgery samples have been taken. Of these, 21 confirmed COVID-19 cases were detected (a positive rate of 0.03%). The percentage of positive cases remains low despite the high sampling numbers indicates that local transmission COVID-19 in the country is under control.

This dynamic surveillance system is a good proxy for describing the transmission of the COVID-19 infection in the community in Malaysia. This is because it covers all levels of society and conducted on asymptomatic individuals. The MOH will continue to monitor for COVID-19 cases in the community and ensure that cases are detected early so that the transmission of the COVID-19 infection can be controlled.

Health Advisory on COVID-19

MOH urges the public to remain vigilant and continue to practice all of the health advisories issued by the MOH, that includes:

• Avoid the 3Cs: Crowded places; Confined spaces; and Close conversations
• Practice the 3Ws: Wash hands frequently with water and soap; Wearing facemasks are strongly encouraged in public areas or if symptomatic; Warn self and others for the following, in line with MOH’s advisories:
  • Avoid shaking hands or touching others
  • Practice good coughing and sneezing etiquette
  • Seek early treatment if symptomatic
  • Stay at home and avoid from visiting others
  • Regularly clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces in common areas

In addition to the SOPs, continue to adhere to THiS:

• T: Terms set under the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO)
• Hi: High-risk groups such as children, infants, older adults and the disabled must be protected, and if unwell with symptoms, to seek early treatment
• S: Safe social distancing is practiced at all times, of at least 1 metre away from others

MOH will continue to monitor the development of the COVID-19 situation, both in the country as well as internationally, based on available information from the World Health Organization (WHO). The public will be continuously updated on the latest information. In addition, MOH will ensure that appropriate preventive and control measures are continuously implemented.
