STATUS TERKINI KES DISAHKAN COVID-19 YANG TELAH PULIH

Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) ingin memaklumkan bahawa terdapat lima (5) kes yang telah pulih dan dibenarkan discaj pada hari ini. Jumlah kumulatif kes yang telah pulih sepenuhnya dari COVID-19 dan telah discaj daripada wad adalah sebanyak 8,546 kes (97.5 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

STATUS TERKINI KES COVID-19 DI MALAYSIA

Sehingga 18 Julai 2020 pukul 12:00 tengah hari, terdapat sembilan (9) kes baharu yang telah dilaporkan. Ini menjadikan jumlah kes positif COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 8,764 kes. Oleh itu, jumlah kes aktif dengan kebolehjangkitan COVID-19 adalah 96 kes. Mereka telah diasingkan dan diberi rawatan.

Ingin dimaklumkan daripada sembilan (9) kes baharu yang dilaporkan, empat (4) kes adalah kes import yang telah mendapat jangkitan di luar negara yang melibatkan tiga (3) orang warganegara Malaysia dan satu (1) bukan warganegara yang berkahwin dengan rakyat Malaysia. Empat (4) kes import tersebut adalah dari negara:

• Indonesia – Dua (2) kes;
• Singapura – Satu (1) kes;
• Pakistan – Satu (1) kes.

Daripada lima (5) kes penularan di dalam negara,  satu (1) kes adalah bukan warganegara Malaysia iaitu kes saringan sebelum berlepas ke luar negara (China). Beliau tidak bergejala dan telah dimasukkan ke Hospital Umum Sarawak.

Baki empat (4) kes penularan di dalam negara pula adalah di kalangan warganegara Malaysia, iaitu seperti berikut:

• Sarawak–  empat (4) kes:
  • Satu (1) kes saringan kontak rapat dalam Kluster Status terkini kluster ini akan diperincikan di bawah;
  • Satu (1) kes saringan pra prosedur di Hospital Bau, Kuching;
  • Dua (2) kes daripada Kluster Stutong, iaitu kluster baharu. Kluster ini akan diperincikan di bawah.

Sehingga kini, hanya satu (1) kes positif COVID-19 yang sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU). Tiada kes yang memerlukan bantuan pernafasan.

Adalah dimaklumkan bahawa tiada pertambahan kes kematian berkaitan COVID-19 dilaporkan pada hari ini. Justeru, jumlah kumulatif kes kematian COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah kekal sebanyak 122 kes (1.39 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

KLUSTER STUTONG

KKM ingin memaklumkan sebuah kluster baharu yang telah dikesan di sebuah pasar di Stutong, Sarawak. Sehingga 18 Julai 2020 jam 12 tengah hari, 218 orang penjaja telah disaring, iaitu terdiri daripada 213 warganegara Malaysia dan lima (5) bukan warganegara iaitu:

• Tiga (3) warga China;
• Satu (1) warga Indonesia; dan
• Satu (1) warga Vietnam.

Daripada jumlah saringan ini, 56 orang telah disampel. Keputusan persampelan setakat ini adalah seperti berikut:

• Dua (2) kes dikesan positif COVID-19; dan
• 54 adalah negatif.

Kluster ini dikesan hasil saringan COVID-19 bagi penjaja-penjaja pasar tersebut yang dikenalpasti sebagai salah satu kumpulan sasar dalam pendekatan tertumpu (targeted approach).

Pasar ini telah ditutup buat sementara waktu bagi pelaksanaan aktiviti pencegahan dan kawalan jangkitan seperti proses pembersihan dan nyah kuman. Punca jangkitan kluster adalah masih di dalam siasatan.

STATUS TERKINI KLUSTER MAMBONG

Sehingga 18 Julai 2020 jam 12 tengah hari, sejumlah lima (5) kes positif COVID-19 telah dilaporkan daripada 70 orang yang telah disaring dalam Kluster Mambong. Seramai 65 orang masih menunggu keputusan.

Kluster ini melibatkan warganegara Malaysia dan satu (1) bukan warganegara, iaitu warga Filipina yang merupakan kes indeks kluster ini (iaitu kes ke-8732). Punca jangkitan kluster masih di dalam siasatan.

STATUS KESIHATAN RAKYAT MALAYSIA DIBAWA PULANG DARI NEW DELHI, INDIA DALAM MISI BANTUAN KEMANUSIAAN DAN BENCANA

Seperti yang dimuatnaik dalam status di laman media sosial Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan pada 18 Julai 2020, kesemua 96 orang telah dibawa pulang dalam Misi Bantuan Kemanusiaan dan Bencana Membawa Rakyat Malaysia Pulang dari New Delhi, India adalah dalam keadaan sihat dan tidak bergejala. Ini termasuk 72 lelaki dan 24 perempuan dengan pecahan 92 dewasa dan empat (4) kanak-kanak. Ini susulan saringan kesihatan oleh petugas kesihatan yang bertugas di Pintu Masuk Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa KLIA.

Swab sampel Nasopharyngeal telah diambil di Pintu Masuk Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa KLIA untuk ujian makmal pengesanan COVID-19 bagi 88 orang (lapan (8) orang ahli keluarga petugas kedutaan telah menjalankan ujian sebelum berlepas di India dan didapati Negatif COVID-19).

Semua mereka ditempatkan dalam pusat pengawasan di Akademi Kepimpinan Pendidikan Tinggi, Enstek, Nilai untuk tempoh selama 14 hari. Kuarantin mandatori selama 14 hari ini dijalankan di pusat pemantauan yang ditetapkan, dan bukan sebagai Home Surveilance Order, dengan mengambil kira kumpulan ini telah kembali dari negara yang berisiko tinggi dengan jangkitan Pandemik COVID-19.

Pemantauan kesihatan dilakukan oleh petugas-petugas kesihatan dari Pejabat Kesihatan Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. Saringan kesihatan akan dibuat dua kali sehari bagi memastikan mereka ini benar-benar sihat dan boleh dibenarkan keluar setelah tamat proses pemantauan ini.

KKM akan terus memantau aspek kesihatan mereka dan memaklumkan umum dari semasa ke semasa.

NASIHAT KESIHATAN BERKAITAN COVID-19

KKM yang ingin menasihatkan orang ramai agar tidak leka dan terus kekal waspada. Pastikan saranan dan nasihat-nasihat kesihatan diamalkan pada setiap masa. Antara nasihat yang sewajarnya dijadikan satu kebiasaan baharu dalam kehidupan harian adalah:

• Elakkan 3S / 3C:iaitu elakkan kawasan yang sesak (Crowded place), elakkan kawasan yang sempit (Confined space) dan elak sembang atau bertutur dengan jarak yang dekat (Close conversation).

• Amalkan 3W:iaitu kerap mencuci tangan dengan air dan sabun (Wash), sangat digalakkan memakai alat pelitup separuh muka (penutup hidung dan mulut – facemask) di tempat awam atau jika bergejala (Wear), dan (Warn) iaitu amaran dari KKM yang lebih berkonsep peringatan seperti:
  • Elakkan bersalaman / bersentuhan;
  • Amalkan etika batuk dan bersin;
  • Dapatkan rawatan segera jika bergejala;
  • Duduk di rumah dan elakkan kunjung-mengunjung;
  • Lakukan aktiviti disinfeksi dan pembersihan di kawasan yang kerap disentuh.

Selain itu, ingatlah kepada S.O.P, iaitu:

• S:Syarat-syarat seperti yang ditetapkan di bawah Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Pemulihan (PKPP);
• O:Orang yang berisiko tinggi seperti kanak-kanak, bayi, warga emas dan orang kurang upaya (OKU) perlu dilindungi, individu tidak sihat dan bergejala dikehendaki segera menjalani pemeriksaan kesihatan;
• P:Penjarakan sosial (social distancing) diamalkan pada setiap masa iaitu sekurang-kurangnya 1 meter.

KKM akan terus memantau perkembangan kejadian jangkitan di dalam negara, dan juga luar negara melalui maklumat yang diperolehi daripada pihak Pertubuhan Kesihatan Sedunia (WHO). Orang ramai akan sentiasa dimaklumkan sebarang perkembangan terkini mengenainya. Begitu juga, KKM akan memastikan langkah pencegahan dan kawalan yang sewajarnya adalah dilaksanakan secara berterusan.

SITUATION IN MALAYSIA

Current Status of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Who Have Recovered

The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that five (5) cases have recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 8,546 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (97.5% of total cumulative cases).

Current Situation of COVID-19 in Malaysia

18 July 2020, 12 pm – A total of nine (9) additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 8,764 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 96 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment.

Of the nine (9) additional cases reported today, four (4) are imported case who were infected overseas, involving three (3) Malaysians and one (1) non-Malaysian (spouse to a Malaysian). The four (4) imported cases were travellers from the following countries:

• Indonesia – 2 cases
• Singapore – 1 case
• Pakistan – 1 case

Of the five (5) local transmission cases, one (1) case is a non-Malaysian; from pre-departure screening for overseas travel (to China). The case was asymptomatic and was admitted into Sarawak General Hospital.

The remaining four (4) local transmission cases are among Malaysians, detail as follows:

• Sarawak – 4 cases:
  • 1 case: Screening of close contacts in the Mambong Cluster, as detailed below.
  • 1 case: Pre-procedural screening at Bau Hospital, Kuching.
  • 2 cases: Cases from the Stutong Cluster; the detail of this new cluster is shown below.

Currently, only one (1) confirmed COVID-19 case is receiving treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU), and the patient is not on ventilation support.

Fortunately, no additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there are now 122 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.39% of total cumulative cases).

The Stutong Cluster

MOH would like to inform that a new cluster has been detected at a market in Stutong, Sarawak. As of 18 July 2020, 12 pm, a total of 218 traders have been screened, consisting of 213 Malaysians and 5 non-Malaysians:

• 3 Chinese nationals
• 1 Indonesian national
• 1 Vietnamese national

Of those screened, 56 individuals were sampled. The test results so far are as follows:

• Two (2) confirmed COVID-19 cases
• 54 individuals tested negative

This cluster was detected from COVID-19 screening of traders at the market, who have been identified as a high-risk group in the targeted approach.

The market has been temporarily closed for infection prevention and control activities, including cleaning and disinfection. The cause of infection for this cluster is still under investigation.

Current Status of the Mambong Cluster

As of 18 July 2020, 12 pm, a total of five (5) confirmed COVID-19 cases have been reported from the 70 individuals screened in the Mambong Cluster. The remaining 65 individuals screened are still awaiting results.

This cluster involves four (4) Malaysians and one (1) non-Malaysian i.e. a Philippine national who is the index case for this cluster (Case 8,732). The cause of infection for this cluster is still under investigation.

The Health Status of Malaysians Brought Back from New Delhi, India through the Humanitarian and Disaster Relief Mission

As posted in the status on the social media site of the Director General of Health Malaysia on 18 July 2020, the 96 individuals brought back home from New Delhi, India through the Humanitarian and Disaster Relief Mission are all in good health and without symptoms. This includes 72 males and 24 females; 92 adults and 4 children – following a health screening by healthcare workers at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).

Nasopharyngeal swabs were taken at KLIA for COVID-19 testing for 88 individuals, while the remaining 8 individuals (family members of the embassy staff) had undergone pre-departure screening in India and tested negative for COVID-19.

They have all been placed at the quarantine centre at the Academy of Higher Education Leadership, Enstek, Nilai, for a period of 14 days. This 14-day mandatory quarantine is conducted at a designated quarantine centre, and not as a Home Surveillance Order, taking into account that these individuals have just returned from a country at high-risk of COVID-19 infection.

Health monitoring is conducted by healthcare workers from the Seremban District Health Office, Negeri Sembilan. This health monitoring is conducted twice a day to ensure that they remain healthy and can be allowed to return home after the completion of the quarantine period.

MOH will continue to monitor their health and inform the public of their latest status from time to time.

Health Advisory on COVID-19

MOH advices the public not to be complacent and to continue to remain vigilant; and to always practice all of the health advisories issued by the MOH. The advisories that should be incorporated as the new normal include:

• Avoid the 3Cs: Crowded places; Confined spaces; and Close conversations
• Practice the 3Ws: Wash hands frequently with water and soap; Wearing facemasks are strongly encouraged in public areas or if symptomatic; Warn self and others for the following, in line with MOH’s advisories:
  • Avoid shaking hands or touching others
  • Practice good coughing and sneezing etiquette
  • Seek early treatment if symptomatic
  • Stay at home and avoid from visiting others
  • Regularly clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces in common areas

In addition to the SOPs, continue to adhere to THiS:

• T: Terms set under the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO)
• Hi: High-risk groups such as children, infants, older adults and the disabled must be protected, and if unwell with symptoms, to seek early treatment
• S: Safe social distancing is practiced at all times, of at least 1 metre away from others

MOH will continue to monitor the development of the COVID-19 situation, both in the country as well as internationally, based on available information from the World Health Organization (WHO). The public will be continuously updated on the latest information. In addition, MOH will ensure that appropriate preventive and control measures are continuously implemented.
