STATUS TERKINI KES DISAHKAN COVID-19 YANG TELAH PULIH

Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) ingin memaklumkan bahawa terdapat 17 kes yang telah pulih dan dibenarkan discaj pada hari ini. Jumlah kumulatif kes yang telah pulih sepenuhnya dari COVID-19 dan telah discaj daripada wad adalah sebanyak 8,594 kes (96.7 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

STATUS TERKINI KES COVID-19 DI MALAYSIA

Sehingga 25 Julai 2020 pukul 12:00 tengah hari, terdapat 23 kes baharu yang telah dilaporkan. Ini menjadikan jumlah kes positif COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 8,884 kes. Oleh itu, jumlah kes aktif dengan kebolehjangkitan COVID-19 adalah 167 kes. Mereka telah diasingkan dan diberi rawatan.

Ingin dimaklumkan daripada 23 kes baharu yang dilaporkan, enam (6) kes adalah kes import yang telah mendapat jangkitan di luar negara yang melibatkan empat (4) warganegara Malaysia dan dua (2) bukan warganegara yang dibenarkan masuk ke Malaysia di atas urusan kerja. Enam (6) kes import tersebut adalah dari negara:

• Singapura (3 kes);
• Indonesia (1 kes);
• Filipina (1 kes); dan
• Rusia (1 kes).

Daripada 17 kes penularan di dalam negara, 10 kes adalah di kalangan warganegara Malaysia manakala tujuh (7) kes adalah di kalangan bukan warganegara.

Kes jangkitan dalam negara di kalangan bukan warganegara (7 kes) adalah seperti berikut:

• Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur: satu (1) kes saringan selepas bersalin. Beliau merupakan seorang tahanan di Depot Tahanan Imigresen Bukit Jalil. Beliau tidak bergejala dan sedang dirawat di Hospital Serdang;
• Selangor – dua (2) kes:
  • Satu (1) kes daripada Kluster Rumah Kongsi Sepang;
  • Satu (1) kes saringan di tempat kerja;
• Johor – empat (4) kes:
  • Satu (1) kes daripada Kluster Warga Emas Kluang;
  • Dua (2) kes daripada Kluster Bukit Tiram. Kluster ini akan diperincikan di bawah;
  • Satu (1) kes saringan sebelum masuk kerja.

Perincian kes penularan COVID-19 dalam negara di kalangan warganegara Malaysia (10 kes) pula adalah seperti berikut:

• Johor – dua (2) kes
  • Satu (1) kes daripada Kluster Warga Emas Kluang;
  • Satu (1) kes saringan di tempat kerja;
• Sarawak: – Lapan (8) kes:
  • Empat (4) kes daripada Kluster Sentosa;
  • Satu (1) kes daripada Kluster Kejuruteraan Kuching;
  • Satu (1) kes daripada Kluster Syarikat Pembinaan Kuching. Kluster ini akan diperincikan di bawah;
  • Satu (1) kes saringan pemantauan di pintu masuk lapangan terbang. Beliau tidak bergejala dan telah dimasukkan ke Hospital Umum Sarawak;
  • Satu (1) kes saringan di tempat kerja.

Sehingga kini, hanya tiga (3) kes positif COVID-19 yang sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU) di mana dua (2) kes memerlukan bantuan pernafasan.

Adalah dimaklumkan bahawa tiada pertambahan kes kematian berkaitan COVID-19 dilaporkan pada hari ini. Justeru, jumlah kumulatif kes kematian COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah kekal sebanyak 123 kes (1.38 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

DUA (2) LAGI KLUSTER BAHARU TELAH DIKENALPASTI

KKM ingin memaklumkan bahawa terdapat dua (2) buah kluster baharu yang telah dikenalpasti hari ini, iaitu:

1. Kluster Bukit Tiram

Kluster ini telah dikenalpasti apabila terdapat dua (2) kes positif yang telah dilaporkan di sebuah pusat keagamaan di Taman Bukit Tiram, Johor. Kedua-dua kes positif (iaitu kes ke-8868 dan kes ke-8869) yang dikesan dalam kluster ini merupakan bukan warganegara yang menetap di Malaysia dan merupakan kakitangan pusat tersebut.

Kedua-dua kes positif ini telah mula mengalami gejala pada 15 Julai 2020 namun tidak mendapatkan rawatan segera di mana-mana fasiliti kesihatan. Kemudiannya mereka telah membuat saringan COVID-19 dan dikesan positif pada 24 Julai 2020.

Sehingga 25 Julai 2020, terdapat dua (2) kes positif dan 10 orang kontak rapat telah dikenalpasti dalam kluster ini. Semua 10 orang kontak rapat telah disaring dan masih menunggu keputusan. Siasatan dan akitiviti pengesanan kontak rapat secara aktif (active case detection) sedang diteruskan. Punca jangkitan kluster masih di dalam siasatan.

2. Kluster Syarikat Pembinaan Kuching

Kes pertama kluster ini merupakan kes positif COVID-19 yang telah dikesan pada 11 Julai 2020 (iaitu kes ke-8715). Melalui siasatan yang telah dijalankan, sebanyak 55 kontak rapat telah dikenalpasti yang terdiri daripada lima (5) rakan serumah dan 50 rakan sekerja. Kesemua kontak ini telah disaring dan didapati negatif COVID-19.

Kluster ini telah dikenalpasti apabila satu (1) kes positif (iaitu kes ke-8881) telah dikesan daripada saringan ulangan kontak-kontak rapat kes ke-8715. Aktiviti pengesanan kes secara aktif (active case detection) masih diteruskan. Punca jangkitan kluster adalah masih di dalam siasatan.

NASIHAT KESIHATAN BERKAITAN COVID-19

KKM yang menasihatkan orang ramai agar waspada dan terus patuhi saranan dan nasihat-nasihat kesihatan yang sering ditekankan. Jadikanlah nasihat-nasihat ini satu kebiasaan baharu dalam kehidupan harian:

• Elakkan 3S / 3C:iaitu elakkan kawasan yang sesak (Crowded place), elakkan kawasan yang sempit (Confined space) dan elak sembang atau bertutur dengan jarak yang dekat (Close conversation).

• Amalkan 3W:iaitu kerap mencuci tangan dengan air dan sabun (Wash), sangat digalakkan memakai alat pelitup separuh muka (penutup hidung dan mulut – facemask) di tempat awam atau jika bergejala (Wear), dan (Warn) iaitu amaran dari KKM yang lebih berkonsep peringatan seperti:
  • Elakkan bersalaman / bersentuhan;
  • Amalkan etika batuk dan bersin;
  • Dapatkan rawatan segera jika bergejala;
  • Duduk di rumah dan elakkan kunjung-mengunjung;
  • Lakukan aktiviti disinfeksi dan pembersihan di kawasan yang kerap disentuh.

Patuhlah kepada S.O.P sebagai norma baharu iaitu:

• S:Syarat-syarat seperti yang ditetapkan di bawah Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Pemulihan (PKPP);
• O:Orang yang berisiko tinggi seperti kanak-kanak, bayi, warga emas dan orang kurang upaya (OKU) perlu dilindungi, individu tidak sihat dan bergejala dikehendaki segera menjalani pemeriksaan kesihatan;
• P:Penjarakan sosial (social distancing) diamalkan pada setiap masa iaitu sekurang-kurangnya 1 meter.

KKM akan terus memantau perkembangan kejadian jangkitan di dalam negara, dan juga luar negara melalui maklumat yang diperolehi daripada pihak Pertubuhan Kesihatan Sedunia (WHO). Orang ramai akan sentiasa dimaklumkan sebarang perkembangan terkini mengenainya. Begitu juga, KKM akan memastikan langkah pencegahan dan kawalan yang sewajarnya adalah dilaksanakan secara berterusan.

SITUATION IN MALAYSIA

Current Status of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Who Have Recovered

The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 17 cases have recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 8,594 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (96.7% of total cumulative cases).

Current Situation of COVID-19 in Malaysia

25 July 2020, 12 pm – A total of 23 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 8,884 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 167 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment.

Of the 23 additional cases reported today, six (6) are imported cases who were infected overseas, involving four (4) Malaysians and two (2) non-Malaysians (allowed to enter Malaysia for work). The six (6) imported cases were travellers from:

• Singapore – 3 cases
• Indonesia – 1 case
• Philippines – 1 case
• Russia – 1 case

Of the 17 local transmission cases, 10 cases are among Malaysians and seven (7) cases are among non-Malaysians.

Details of the local transmission cases among non-Malaysians (7 cases) are as follows:

• Kuala Lumpur – 1 case: From screening following delivery. The case was a detainee at the Bukit Jalil Immigration Detention Centre. The case is asymptomatic and currently treated at Serdang Hospital.
• Selangor – 2 cases:
  • 1 case: From the Sepang Rumah Kongsi
  • 1 case: From screening at a workplace.
• Johor – 4 cases:
  • 1 case: From the Kluang Elderly Care Home Cluster.
  • 2 cases: From the Bukit Tiram Cluster, as detailed below.
  • 1 case: From screening prior to starting work.

Details of the local transmission COVID-19 cases among Malaysians (10 cases) are as follows:

• Johor – 2 cases:
  • 1 case: From the Kluang Elderly Care Home Cluster.
  • 1 case: From screening at a workplace.
• Sarawak – 8 cases:
  • 4 cases: From the Sentosa Cluster.
  • 1 case: From the Kuching Engineering Cluster.
  • 1 case: From the Kuching Construction Company Cluster, as detailed below.
  • 1 case: From screening at the port of entry at the airport. The case was asymptomatic and has been admitted into Sarawak General Hospital.
  • 1 case: From screening at a workplace.

Currently, only three (3) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICUs), and two (2) patients are on ventilation support.

No additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there are now 123 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.38% of total cumulative cases).

Two New COVID-19 Clusters Reported Today

MOH would like to inform that two (2) new clusters have been reported today:

1. Bukit Tiram Cluster

This cluster was identified when two (2) confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported at a religious centre in Taman Bukit Tiram, Johor. Both cases (Case 8,868 and Case 8,869) are non-Malaysians residing in Malaysia and are employees of the centre.

Both cases developed symptoms on 15 July 2020 but did not seek immediate treatment at any health facility. They then underwent COVID-19 screening and tested positive on 24 July 2020.

As of 25 July 2020, there are two (2) confirmed COVID-19 cases and 10 close contacts have been identified in this cluster. All 10 close contacts have been screened and are awaiting results. Investigation and active contact detection are ongoing. The cause of infection for this cluster is still under investigation.

2. Kuching Construction Company Cluster

The first case of this cluster is a confirmed COVID-19 case that was detected on 11 July 2020 (Case 8,715). Investigation has identified 55 close contacts, of which five (5) are members of the same household and 50 work colleagues. All of these close contacts have been screened and tested negative for COVID-19.

This cluster was identified when one (1) confirmed COVID-19 case (Case 8,881) was detected from repeated screening of close contacts of Case 8,715. Active case detection is still ongoing. The cause of infection for this cluster is still under investigation.

Health Advisory on COVID-19

MOH advices the public to continue to remain vigilant and to always comply to the recommendations and health advisories repeatedly emphasised by the MOH. These advisories must be incorporated into everyday life as the new normal.

• Avoid the 3Cs: Avoid Crowded places; Confined spaces; and Close conversations
• Practice the 3Ws: Wash hands frequently with water and soap; Wearing facemasks are strongly encouraged in public areas or if symptomatic; Warn self and others for the following, in line with MOH’s advisories:
  • Avoid shaking hands or touching others
  • Practice good coughing and sneezing etiquette
  • Seek early treatment if symptomatic
  • Stay at home and avoid from visiting others
  • Regularly clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces in common areas

In addition to the SOPs, continue to adhere to THiS:

• T: Terms set under the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO)
• Hi: High-risk groups such as children, infants, older adults and the disabled must be protected, and if unwell with symptoms, to seek early treatment
• S: Safe social distancing is practiced at all times, of at least 1 metre away from others

MOH will continue to monitor the development of the COVID-19 situation, both in the country as well as internationally, based on available information from the World Health Organization (WHO). The public will be continuously updated on the latest information. In addition, MOH will ensure that appropriate preventive and control measures are continuously implemented.
