STATUS TERKINI KES DISAHKAN COVID-19 YANG TELAH PULIH

Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) ingin memaklumkan bahawa terdapat tujuh (7) kes yang telah pulih COVID-19 pada hari ini. Jumlah kumulatif kes yang telah pulih sepenuhnya dari COVID-19 adalah sebanyak 9,196 kes (92.75 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

STATUS TERKINI KES COVID-19 DI MALAYSIA

Sehingga 13 September 2020 pukul 12:00 tengah hari, terdapat 47 kes baharu yang telah dilaporkan. Ini menjadikan jumlah kes positif COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 9,915 kes. Oleh itu, jumlah kes aktif dengan kebolehjangkitan COVID-19 adalah 591 kes. Mereka telah diasingkan dan diberi rawatan.

Ingin dimaklumkan daripada 47 kes baharu yang dilaporkan, dua (2) kes adalah kes import yang telah mendapat jangkitan di luar negara yang melibatkan dua (2) bukan warganegara. Dua (2) kes import tersebut adalah dari negara:

• Republik Maldives (1 kes di Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur – warganegara Maldives); dan
• Maghribi (1 kes di Selangor – warganegara Maghribi).

Daripada 45 kes penularan di dalam negara, 28 kes adalah warganegara Malaysia manakala 17 kes adalah bukan warganegara. Perincian kes mengikut negeri adalah seperti berikut:

Kluster-kluster ini akan diperincikan di bawah.

1. Sabah: 31 kes di mana:
   • 22 kes daripada Kluster Benteng LD [lapan (8) warganegara dan 14 bukan warganegara]; 
   • Empat (4) kes saringan warga emas di klinik kesihatan [tiga (3) warganegara dan satu (1) bukan warganegara]; 
   • Dua (2) kes saringan di pusat kuarantin [dua (2) bukan warganegara];
   • Satu (1) kes saringan petugas kesihatan [satu (1) warganegara]; 
   • Satu (1) kes saringan Orang Kena Tahan (OKT) di Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Kudat [satu (1) warganegara]; dan
   • Satu (1) kes Infuenza-like illness (ILI) [satu (1) warganegara].
2. Kedah: 14 kes di mana:
   • 13 kes daripada Kluster Tawar [13 warganegara]; dan 
   • Satu (1) kes daripada Kluster Sungai [satu (1) warganegara].

Sehingga kini, terdapat sembilan (9) kes positif COVID-19 yang sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU), di mana empat (4) kes memerlukan bantuan pernafasan.

Adalah dimaklumkan bahawa tiada pertambahan kes kematian berkaitan COVID-19 dilaporkan pada hari ini. Justeru, jumlah kumulatif kes kematian COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah kekal sebanyak 128 kes (1.29 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

STATUS TERKINI KLUSTER BENTENG LD, TAWAR DAN KLUSTER SUNGAI

1. Kluster Benteng LD

Sehingga 13 September 2020 jam 12 tengah hari, sejumlah 4,666 telah disaring dalam Kluster Benteng LD dan sebanyak 22 kes baharu telah dikesan positif COVID-19. Pecahan jumlah saringan mengikut daerah adalah seperti berikut:

1. Lahad Datu (1,258 disaring):
   • 88 kes dikesan positif COVID-19 (tiada kes baharu);
   • 907 individu negatif; dan
   • 263 individu menunggu keputusan.
2. Tawau (3,408 disaring);
   • 315 kes dikesan positif COVID-19 (22 kes baharu);
   • 803 individu negatif; dan
   • 2,290 individu menunggu keputusan.

Berdasarkan keseluruhan jumlah saringan bagi kluster ini, pecahan saringan melibatkan:

• 913 banduan di mana 383 dikesan positif COVID-19;
• 623 kakitangan di mana dua (2) dikesan positif COVID-19
• 1,214 orang kontak ahli keluarga kakitangan dan banduan di mana tiga (3) dikesan positif COVID-19;
• 332 pegawai polis, tiada dikesan positif COVID-19;        
• 744 pegawai agensi kerajaan lain, tiada dikesan positif COVID-19; dan
• 840 kontak sosial di mana 15 dikesan positif COVID-19.

Daripada jumlah 403 kes positif COVID-19, 176 adalah di kalangan warganegara Malaysia manakala 227 adalah bukan warganegara yang melibatkan negara:

• Filipina (152 kes); dan
• Indonesia (75 kes).

Berdasarkan keseluruhan jumlah saringan bagi kluster ini, seramai 1,699 petugas barisan hadapan disaring (36.41 peratus). Daripada jumlah tersebut, sebanyak dua (2) kes dikesan positif COVID-19 dalam kalangan petugas barisan hadapan.

2. Kluster Tawar

Sehingga 13 September 2020 jam 12 tengah hari, sejumlah 18,233 telah disaring dalam Kluster Tawar dan sebanyak 13 kes baharu telah dikesan positif COVID-19. Pecahan jumlah saringan mengikut negeri adalah seperti berikut:

1. Kedah (17,659 disaring):
   • 81 kes dikesan positif COVID-19 (13 kes baharu);
   • 17,578 individu negatif; dan
   • Tiada individu menunggu keputusan.
2. Pulau Pinang (563 disaring);
   • 11 kes dikesan positif COVID-19 (tiada kes baharu);
   • 552 individu negatif; dan
   • Tiada individu menunggu keputusan.
3. Perak (11 disaring);
   • Tiada kes dikesan positif COVID-19 (tiada kes baharu);
   • 11 individu negatif; dan
   • Tiada individu menunggu keputusan.

Berdasarkan keseluruhan jumlah saringan bagi kluster ini, seramai 649 petugas kesihatan disaring (3.56 peratus). Daripada jumlah petugas kesihatan yang disaring, pecahan petugas adalah seperti berikut:

• 624 petugas kesihatan swasta (96.15 peratus); dan
• 25 petugas kesihatan kerajaan (3.85 peratus).

Sebanyak enam (6) kes dikesan positif COVID-19 dalam kalangan petugas kesihatan. Kesemua kes tersebut merupakan petugas kesihatan swasta.

• Kluster Sungai 

Sehingga 13 September 2020 jam 12 tengah hari, sejumlah 14,044 telah disaring dalam Kluster Sungai dan sebanyak satu (1) kes baharu telah dikesan positif COVID-19. Pecahan jumlah saringan mengikut negeri adalah seperti berikut:

1. Kedah (13,891 disaring):
   • 56 kes dikesan positif COVID-19 (1 kes baharu);
   • 8,054 individu negatif; dan
   • 5,781 individu masih menunggu keputusan.
2. Pulau Pinang (135 disaring):
   • Tiada kes dikesan positif COVID-19; dan
   • 135 individu negatif.
3. Perlis (18 disaring):
   • Satu (1) kes dikesan positif COVID-19 (Tiada kes baharu);
   • 11 individu negatif; dan
   • Enam (6) individu masih menunggu keputusan.

Berdasarkan keseluruhan jumlah saringan bagi kluster ini, seramai 711 petugas kesihatan disaring (5.06 peratus). Daripada jumlah tersebut, sebanyak 20 kes dikesan positif COVID-19 dalam kalangan petugas kesihatan.

Untuk makluman, ketiga-tiga kluster ini melibatkan petugas barisan hadapan termasuklah petugas kesihatan. Semua petugas barisan hadapan perlu mengambil iktibar dari kejadian ini. Semasa bertugas, semua petugas barisan hadapan hendaklah sentiasa patuhi garis panduan dan tatacara yang telah ditetapkan. Selain itu, peringatan penting bagi setiap petugas adalah seperti berikut:

1. Kerap mencuci tangan dengan air dan sabun sebelum dan selepas pengurusan kes;
2. Pakai Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) yang bersesuaian termasuklah pelitup muka semasa menguruskan sebarang kes;
3. Amalkan penjarakan fizikal di mana jarak sekurang-kurangnya satu meter antara satu individu dengan individu yang lain di tempat guna sama khususnya semasa waktu rehat;
4. Lakukan aktiviti disinfeksi dan pembersihan di kawasan yang kerap disentuh.

Semasa di luar waktu bekerja, petugas barisan hadapan pula perlu mematuhi Prosedur Operasi Standard (SOP) yang ditetapkan oleh kerajaan. Disamping itu, terus amalkan kebiasaan serta normal baharu dalam mengekang penularan jangkitan COVID-19.

NASIHAT KESIHATAN BERKAITAN COVID-19

KKM ingin menasihati orang ramai agar terus patuhi saranan serta nasihat-nasihat kesihatan yang sering ditekankan. Jadikanlah nasihat-nasihat ini satu kebiasaan baharu dalam kehidupan harian:

• Elakkan 3S / 3C : iaitu elakkan kawasan yang sesak (Crowded place), elakkan kawasan yang sempit (Confined space) dan elak sembang atau bertutur dengan jarak yang dekat (Close conversation).

• Amalkan 3W : iaitu kerap mencuci tangan dengan air dan sabun (Wash), memakai alat pelitup muka (facemask) di tempat awam yang telah diwajibkan oleh pihak Majlis Keselamatan Negara (MKN) mulai 1 Ogos 2020 atau jika bergejala (Wear), dan (Warn) iaitu amaran dari KKM yang lebih berkonsep peringatan seperti:

• Elakkan bersalaman / bersentuhan termasuk melagakan mana-mana bahagian tubuh badan sebagai menggantikan cara kebiasaan bersalam;
  • Amalkan etika batuk dan bersin;
  • Dapatkan rawatan segera jika bergejala;
  • Duduk di rumah dan elakkan kunjung-mengunjung; 
  • Lakukan aktiviti disinfeksi dan pembersihan di kawasan yang kerap disentuh.

Patuhlah kepada S.O.P sebagai normal baharu iaitu:

• S : Syarat-syarat seperti yang ditetapkan di bawah Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Pemulihan (PKPP);
• O : Orang yang berisiko tinggi seperti kanak-kanak, bayi, warga emas dan orang kurang upaya (OKU) perlu dilindungi, individu tidak sihat dan bergejala dikehendaki segera menjalani pemeriksaan kesihatan;
• P : Penjarakan fizikal (physical distancing) sekurang-kurangnya 1 meter diamalkan pada setiap masa.

KKM akan terus memantau perkembangan kejadian jangkitan di dalam negara, dan juga luar negara melalui maklumat yang diperolehi daripada pihak Pertubuhan Kesihatan Sedunia (WHO). Orang ramai akan sentiasa dimaklumkan sebarang perkembangan terkini mengenainya. Begitu juga, KKM akan memastikan langkah pencegahan dan kawalan yang sewajarnya adalah dilaksanakan secara berterusan.

SITUATION IN MALAYSIA

Current Status of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Who Have Recovered

The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that seven (7) cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 9,196 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (92.75% of total cumulative cases).

Current Situation of COVID-19 in Malaysia

13 September 2020, 12 pm – a total of 47 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 9,915 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 591 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment.

Of the 47 additional cases reported today, two (2) are imported cases who were infected overseas, involving two (2) non-Malaysians. They were travellers from the following countries:

• Maldives – 1 case in Kuala Lumpur, Maldives national.
• Morocco – 1 case in Selangor, Moroccan national.

Of the 45 local transmission cases reported today, 28 cases are among Malaysians, while 17 cases are among non-Malaysians. The details are as follows:

• Sabah – 31 cases:
  • 22 cases: From the Benteng LD Cluster [8 cases are Malaysians and 14 cases are non-Malaysians].
  • 4 cases: From screening of older adults in health clinics [3 cases are Malaysians and 1 case a non-Malaysian].
  • 2 cases: From screening at quarantine stations [2 non-Malaysians].
  • 1 case: From screening of healthcare workers [1 Malaysian].
  • 1 case: Screening of detainees at the Kudat District Police HQ [1 Malaysian]
  • 1 case: From Influenza-like Illness (ILI) screening [1 Malaysian].
• Kedah – 14 cases:
  • 13 cases: From the Tawar Cluster [13 Malaysians].
  • 1 case: From the Sungai Cluster [1 Malaysian]

These clusters are detailed below.

Currently, nine (9) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care units (ICUs), with four (4) patients on ventilation support. No additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there remains 128 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.29% of total cumulative cases).

Current Status Benteng LD Cluster, Tawar Cluster and Sungai Cluster

1. The Benteng LD Cluster

As of 13 September 2020, 12 pm, a total of 4,666 individuals have been screened in this cluster, with 22 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases reported today. The breakdown of screening by districts involved is as follows:

1. Lahad Datu (1,258 screened):
   • 88 confirmed COVID-19 cases (no additional case reported today)
   • 907 individuals tested negative
   • 263 individuals awaiting results
2. Tawau (3,408 screened):
   • 315 confirmed COVID-19 cases (22 additional cases reported today)
   • 803 individuals tested negative
   • 2,290 individuals awaiting results

From the total number of screenings for this cluster, the breakdown are as follows:

1. 913 prisoners, of which 383 are confirmed COVID-19 cases
2. 623 prison staff, of which two (2) are confirmed COVID-19 cases
3. 1,214 closes contacts among family members of staff and prisoners, of which three (3) are confirmed COVID-19 cases
4. 332 police officers, all tested negative for COVID-19
5. 744 personnel from other government agencies, all tested negative for COVID-19
6. 840 social close contacts, of which 15 are confirmed COVID-19 cases

Of the cumulative 403 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 176 cases are among Malaysians while 227 case were among non-Malaysians from:

• Philippines – 152 cases
• Indonesia – 75 cases

Based on the total number of screenings for this cluster, a total of 1,699 frontliners were screened (36.41%). Of these, two (2) are confirmed COVID-19 cases among frontliners.

• The Tawar Cluster

As of 13 September 2020, 12 pm, a total of 18,233 individuals have been screened in this cluster, with 13 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases reported today. The breakdown of screening by states involved is as follows:

1. Kedah (17,659 screened):
   • 81 confirmed COVID-19 cases (13 additional confirmed cases reported today)
   • 17,578 individuals tested negative
   • No individuals awaiting results
2. Pulau Pinang (563 screened):
   • 11 confirmed COVID-19 cases (no additional confirmed cases reported today)
   • 552 individuals tested negative
   • No individuals awaiting results
3. Perak (11 screened):
   • No COVID-19 confirmed cases (no additional confirmed cases reported today)
   • 11 individuals tested negative
   • No individuals awaiting results

Based on the total number of screenings for this cluster, a total of 649 healthcare workers (HCWs) were screened (3.56%). Of the total number of HCWs screened, the breakdown by categories is as follows:

• 624 private HCWs (96.15%)
• 25 government HCWs (3.85%)

A total of six (6) confirmed COVID-19 cases were detected among the HCWs. They were all private HCWs.

• The Sungai Cluster

As of 13 September 2020, 12 pm, a total of 14,044 individuals have been screened in this cluster, with one (1) additional confirmed COVID-19 case reported today. The breakdown of screening by the states involved is as follows:

1. Kedah (13,891 screened):
   • 56 confirmed COVID-19 cases (1 additional confirmed case reported today)
   • 8,054 individuals tested negative
   • 5,781 individuals awaiting results
2. Pulau Pinang (135 screened)
   • No confirmed COVID-19 cases
   • 135 individuals tested negative
3. Perlis (18 screened):
   • One (1) confirmed COVID-19 case (no additional confirmed case reported today)
   • 11 individuals tested negative
   • 6 individuals awaiting results

Based on the total number of screenings for this cluster, a total of 711 HWCs were screened (5.06%). Of these, 20 confirmed COVID-19 cases were detected among the HCWs.

MOH would like to inform that these three clusters does involved some frontliners, including HCWs. All frontliners must learn from these incidences. While on duty, all frontliners must always comply to the guidelines and procedures that have been set. In addition, the following are important reminders to all frontliners:

1. Wash hands frequently with soap and water before and after managing cases;
2. Wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including facemasks when handling any cases;
3. Practice physical distancing of at least one metre away from others while using common spaces, especially during rest breaks; and
4. Disinfect and clean commonly used areas and high-touch surfaces.

While outside of working hours, frontliners must comply with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) set by the Government. In addition, HCWs must continue to practice the new normal in curbing the transmission of the COVID-19 infection.

Health Advisory on COVID-19

MOH advices the public to continue to follow the recommendations and health advisories that are often emphasised. These advisories must be incorporated as the new normal in our daily life, including:

• Avoid the 3Cs: Avoid Crowded places; Confined spaces; and Close conversations.

• Practice the 3Ws: Wash hands frequently with water and soap; Wearing facemasks is now mandatory in public areas (starting from 1 August 2020 as directed by the National Security Council) or highly recommended if symptomatic; Warn self and others for the following, in line with MOH’s advisories:
  • Avoid shaking hands or touching others, including bumping parts of the body in lieu of shaking hands
  • Practice good coughing and sneezing etiquette
  • Seek early treatment if symptomatic
  • Stay at home and avoid from visiting others
  • Regularly clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces in common areas

In addition to the SOPs, continue to adhere to THiS as the new normal:

• T: Terms set under the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO)
• Hi: High-risk groups such as children, infants, older adults and the disabled must be protected, and if unwell with symptoms, to seek early treatment
• S: Safe physical distancing is practiced at all times, of at least 1 metre away from others

MOH will continue to monitor the development of the COVID-19 situation, both in the country as well as internationally, based on available information from the World Health Organization (WHO). The public will be continuously updated on the latest information. In addition, MOH will ensure that appropriate preventive and control measures are continuously implemented.
