STATUS TERKINI KES DISAHKAN COVID-19 YANG TELAH PULIH

Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) ingin memaklumkan bahawa terdapat 26 kes yang telah pulih COVID-19 pada hari ini. Jumlah kumulatif kes yang telah pulih sepenuhnya dari COVID-19 adalah sebanyak 9,235 kes (92.1 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

STATUS TERKINI KES COVID-19 DI MALAYSIA

Sehingga 16 September 2020 pukul 12:00 tengah hari, terdapat 62 kes baharu yang telah dilaporkan. Ini menjadikan jumlah kes positif COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 10,031 kes. Oleh itu, jumlah kes aktif dengan kebolehjangkitan COVID-19 adalah 668 kes. Mereka telah diasingkan dan diberi rawatan.

Ingin dimaklumkan daripada 62 kes baharu yang dilaporkan, satu (1) kes adalah kes import yang telah mendapat jangkitan di luar negara iaitu seorang warganegara Malaysia yang pulang dari negara India.

Daripada 61 kes penularan di dalam negara, 41 kes adalah warganegara Malaysia dan 20 kes adalah bukan warganegara. 

Perincian kes penularan COVID-19 dalam negara adalah seperti berikut:

• Sabah: 59 kes
  • 48 kes daripada Kluster Benteng LD, yang melibatkan 20 bukan warganegara;
  • Empat (4) kes saringan petugas kesihatan di Hospital Lahad Datu;
  • Tiga (3) kes saringan di Pintu Masuk Antarabangsa (PMA) dari Semenanjung Malaysia;
  • Dua (2) kes saringan di Klinik Kesihatan Lahad Datu;
  • Satu (1) kes daripada Kluster Pulau; dan
  • Satu (1) kes saringan di Penjara Sandakan.
• Kedah: Satu (1) kes daripada Kluster Sungai;
• Pulau Pinang: Satu (1) kes saringan kontak rapat kepada kes ke-9397 dan kes ke-9459. Beliau merupakan ahli keluarga kepada kedua-dua kes ke-9397 dan ke-9459 (kesemua mereka duduk serumah).

Kluster-kluster ini akan diperincikan di bawah.

Sehingga kini, terdapat 15 kes positif COVID-19 yang sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU), di mana tiga (3) kes memerlukan bantuan pernafasan.

Adalah dimaklumkan bahawa tiada pertambahan kes kematian berkaitan COVID-19 dilaporkan pada hari ini. Justeru, jumlah kumulatif kes kematian COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah kekal sebanyak 128 kes (1.28 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

STATUS TERKINI KLUSTER BENTENG LD,  KLUSTER PULAU DAN KLUSTER SUNGAI

1) Kluster Benteng LD

Terdapat 48 kes baharu yang dilaporkan bagi Kluster Benteng LD pada hari ini. Ini menjadikan jumlah kes positif kluster ini sebanyak 472 kes. Sehingga 16 September 2020 jam 12 tengah hari, sejumlah 7,247 individu telah disaring dalam kluster ini. Pecahan jumlah saringan mengikut daerah adalah seperti berikut:

1. Lahad Datu (1,531 disaring):
   • 141 kes dikesan positif COVID-19 (48 kes baharu);
   • 1,306 individu negatif; dan
   • 84 individu menunggu keputusan.
2. Tawau (5,716 disaring);
   • 331 kes dikesan positif COVID-19;
   • 2,764 individu negatif; dan
   • 2,621 individu menunggu keputusan.

Berdasarkan keseluruhan saringan bagi kluster ini, pecahan saringan melibatkan:

• 1,379 banduan dan tahanan di mana 429 kes dikesan positif COVID-19;
• 1,156 kakitangan Ibu Pejabat Daerah (IPD) Lahad Datu dan Penjara Tawau di mana 10 kes dikesan positif COVID-19;
• 1,251 ahli keluarga kepada kakitangan, banduan dan tahanan di mana 10 dikesan positif COVID-19;
• 994 pegawai agensi kerajaan lain, tiada dikesan positif COVID-19; dan
• 2,467 kontak sosial di mana 23 kes dikesan positif COVID-19.

Jumlah kes akan sentiasa dikemaskini dan kategori bagi kes positif mungkin akan berubah bergantung kepada maklumat terkini hasil siasatan di lapangan.

Daripada jumlah 472 kes positif COVID-19, 214 adalah di kalangan warganegara Malaysia manakala 258 adalah bukan warganegara yang melibatkan negara:

• Filipina (167 kes); dan
• Indonesia (91 kes).

2) Kluster Pulau

Terdapat satu (1) kes baharu yang dilaporkan bagi Kluster Pulau pada hari ini. Ini menjadikan jumlah kes positif kluster ini sebanyak 10 kes yang melibatkan sembilan (9) warganegara Malaysia dan satu (1) bukan warganegara. Sehingga 16 September 2020 jam 12 tengah hari, sejumlah 193 individu telah disaring dalam kluster ini yang melibatkan 171 warganegara Malaysia dan 22 bukan warganegara. Pecahan saringan adalah seperti berikut:

• 10 kes dikesan positif COVID-19 (1 kes baharu);
• 17 individu negatif; dan
• 166 individu masih menunggu keputusan.

3) Kluster Sungai

Terdapat satu (1) kes baharu yang dilaporkan bagi Kluster Sungai pada hari ini. Ini menjadikan jumlah kes positif kluster ini sebanyak 59 kes. Sehingga 16 September 2020 jam 12 tengah hari, sejumlah 19,809 individu telah disaring dalam kluster ini. Pecahan jumlah saringan mengikut negeri adalah seperti berikut:

1. 19,648 disaring):
   •  kes dikesan positif COVID-19 (1 kes baharu);
   •  individu negatif; dan
   •  individu masih menunggu keputusan.
2. Pulau Pinang (136 disaring):
   • 135 individu negatif; dan
   • Satu (1) individu masih menunggu keputusan.
3. Perlis (25 disaring):
   • Satu (1) kes dikesan positif COVID-19;
   • 18 individu negatif; dan
   • Enam (6) individu masih menunggu keputusan.

Jumlah saringan bagi kluster ini adalah termasuk 711 petugas kesihatan, di mana seramai 20 dikesan positif COVID-19.

Saringan kontak rapat dan aktiviti pengesanan kes secara aktif (Active Case Detection) bagi ketiga-tiga kluster ini masih diteruskan. Status terkini kluster-kluster akan dimaklumkan dari semasa ke semasa.

KES COVID-19 TELAH MENCECAH LIMA ANGKA

Adalah dimaklumkan bahawa jumlah kumulatif kes positif COVID-19 di Malaysia sehingga 16 September 2020 telah mencatat lima angka iaitu, 10,031 kes. Kes aktif pula, iaitu kes dengan kebolehjangkitan COVID-19 juga meningkat kian hari manakala kes positif COVID-19 yang sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU) juga didapati semakin meningkat.

Berdasarkan data terkini bagi 15 orang pesakit COVID-19 di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU), didapati:

• Tiga (3) pesakit memerlukan bantuan pernafasan;
• Enam (6) pesakit merupakan warga emas berusia 60 tahun dan ke atas;
• Sembilan (9) pesakit adalah dalam lingkungan umur 21 sehingga 56 tahun;
• Sembilan (9) pesakit adalah daripada Kluster Sungai;
• 10 pesakit didapati mempunyai latar belakang penyakit kronik; dan
• 14 pesakit mendapat jangkitan dari dalam negara manakala satu (1) pesakit mendapat jangkitan dari luar negara. Kesemua pesakit adalah warganegara Malaysia.

Warga emas merupakan antara golongan yang terkesan akibat jangkitan COVID-19, namun golongan yang lebih muda dan mempunyai penyakit kronik juga turut dikesan mempunyai gelaja, penyakit dan komplikasi yang lebih serius sehingga perlu dimasukkan ke Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU) untuk pemantauan rapi. Sekiranya situasi ini berlanjutan, fasiliti kesihatan Negara perlu menampung beban yang tinggi semula. Justeru, bagi mengelakkan daripada berlakunya situasi demikian, setiap individu daripada semua peringkat dan lapisan masyarakat perlulah memainkan peranan masing-masing dan patuh kepada SOP serta nasihat-nasihat yang dikeluarkan Kerajaan.

Orang ramai digesa agar terus patuh kepada Prosedur Standard Operasi (SOP) dan amalkan kelaziman baharu dalam usaha mencegah penularan COVID-19. Amalan penjarakan fizikal yang selamat (physical distancing), kerap menjaga kebersihan tangan dengan mencuci tangan dengan air dan sabun serta pemakaian alat pelitup muka (facemask) di tempat awam dan tempat yang sesak perlu diamalkan setiap masa. Hanya dengan kerjasama semua lapisan dan peringkat masyarakat kita dapat sama-sama memutuskan rantaian jangkitan COVID-19 di Malaysia.

NASIHAT KESIHATAN BERKAITAN COVID-19

KKM ingin menasihati orang ramai agar terus patuhi saranan serta nasihat-nasihat kesihatan yang sering ditekankan. Jadikanlah nasihat-nasihat ini satu kebiasaan baharu dalam kehidupan harian:

• Elakkan 3S / 3C : iaitu elakkan kawasan yang sesak (Crowded place), elakkan kawasan yang sempit (Confined space) dan elak sembang atau bertutur dengan jarak yang dekat (Close conversation).

• Amalkan 3W : iaitu kerap mencuci tangan dengan air dan sabun (Wash), memakai alat pelitup muka (facemask) di tempat awam yang telah diwajibkan oleh pihak Majlis Keselamatan Negara (MKN) mulai 1 Ogos 2020 atau jika bergejala (Wear), dan (Warn) iaitu amaran dari KKM yang lebih berkonsep peringatan seperti:

• Elakkan bersalaman / bersentuhan termasuk melagakan mana-mana bahagian tubuh badan sebagai menggantikan cara kebiasaan bersalam;
  • Amalkan etika batuk dan bersin;
  • Dapatkan rawatan segera jika bergejala;
  • Duduk di rumah dan elakkan kunjung-mengunjung; 
  • Lakukan aktiviti disinfeksi dan pembersihan di kawasan yang kerap disentuh.

Patuhlah kepada S.O.P sebagai normal baharu iaitu:

• S : Syarat-syarat seperti yang ditetapkan di bawah Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Pemulihan (PKPP);
• O : Orang yang berisiko tinggi seperti kanak-kanak, bayi, warga emas dan orang kurang upaya (OKU) perlu dilindungi, individu tidak sihat dan bergejala dikehendaki segera menjalani pemeriksaan kesihatan;
• P : Penjarakan fizikal (physical distancing) sekurang-kurangnya 1 meter diamalkan pada setiap masa.

KKM akan terus memantau perkembangan kejadian jangkitan di dalam negara, dan juga luar negara melalui maklumat yang diperolehi daripada pihak Pertubuhan Kesihatan Sedunia (WHO). Orang ramai akan sentiasa dimaklumkan sebarang perkembangan terkini mengenainya. Begitu juga, KKM akan memastikan langkah pencegahan dan kawalan yang sewajarnya adalah dilaksanakan secara berterusan.

SITUATION IN MALAYSIA

Current Status of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Who Have Recovered

The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 26 cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 9,235 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (92.1% of total cumulative cases).

Current Situation of COVID-19 in Malaysia

16 September 2020, 12 pm – a total of 62 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 10,031 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 668 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment.

Of the 62 additional cases reported today, only one (1) is an imported case who was infected overseas, a Malaysian returning from India.

Of the 61 local transmission cases reported today, 41 cases are among Malaysians and 20 cases are among non-Malaysians. The details are as follows:

• Sabah: 59 cases
  • 48 cases from the Benteng LD Cluster; involving 20 non-Malaysians.
  • 4 cases from healthcare workers screening at Lahad Datu Hospital.
  • 3 cases from screening at the international ports of entry; travellers from peninsular Malaysia.
  • 2 cases from screening at Klinik Kesihatan Lahad Datu.
  • 1 case from the Pulau Cluster.
  • 1 case from screening at Sandakan Prison
• Kedah: 1 case from the Sungai Cluster
• Pulau Pinang: 1 case from screening of close contacts of Case 9,397 and Case 9,459. This case is a family member of both Case 9,397 and Case 9,459 (of the same household).

These clusters are detailed below.

Currently, 15 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care units (ICUs), with three (3) patients on ventilation support. No additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there remains 128 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.28% of total cumulative cases).

Current Status of the Benteng LD Cluster, Pulau Cluster and Sungai Cluster

The Benteng LD Cluster

48 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases are reported for this cluster today. Cumulatively, there are now 472 confirmed COVID-19 cases in this cluster. As of 16 September 2020, 12 pm, a total of 7,247 individuals have been screened in this cluster. The breakdown of screening by districts involved is as follows:

1. Lahad Datu (1,531 individuals screened):
   • 141 confirmed COVID-19 cases (48 additional cases reported today)
   • 1,306 individuals tested negative
   • 84 individuals awaiting results
2. Tawau (5,716 screened):
   • 331 confirmed COVID-19 cases
   • 2,764 individuals tested negative
   • 2,621 individuals awaiting results

From the total number of screenings for this cluster, the breakdown is as follows:

• 1,379 prisoners and detainees, of which 429 are confirmed COVID-19 cases
• 1,156 staff from the Lahad Datu District Police QH and Tawau Prison, of which 10 are confirmed COVID-19 cases
• 1,251 family members of staff, prisoners and detainees, of which 10 are confirmed COVID-19 cases
• 994 personnel from other government agencies, all tested negative for COVID-19
• 2,467 social close contacts, of which 23 are confirmed COVID-19 cases

The number of cases will be constantly updated and the categories for confirmed cases may change depending on the latest information from field investigations.

Of the cumulative 472 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 214 cases are among Malaysians while 258 cases were among non-Malaysians from:

• Philippines – 167 cases
• Indonesia – 91 cases

The Pulau Cluster

One (1) additional confirmed COVID-19 case is reported for this cluster today. Cumulatively, there are now 10 confirmed COVID-19 cases in this cluster, involving nine (9) Malaysians and one (1) non-Malaysian. As of 16 September 2020, 12 pm, a total of 193 individuals have been screened in this cluster, involving 171 Malaysians and 22 non-Malaysians. The breakdown of screening is as follows:

• 10 confirmed COVID-19 cases (1 additional case reported today)
• 17 individuals tested negative
• 166 individuals awaiting results

• The Sungai Cluster

One (1) additional confirmed COVID-19 case is reported for this cluster today. Cumulatively, there are now 59 confirmed COVID-19 cases in this cluster. As of 16 September 2020, 12 pm, a total of 19,809 individuals have been screened in this cluster. The breakdown of screening by states involved is as follows:

1. Kedah (19,648 individuals screened):
   • 58 confirmed COVID-19 cases (1 additional confirmed case reported today)
   • 17,814 individuals tested negative
   • 1,776 individuals awaiting results
2. Pulau Pinang (136 screened)
   • 135 individuals tested negative
   • 1 individual awaiting result
3. Perlis (25 screened):
   • One (1) confirmed COVID-19 case
   • 18 individuals tested negative
   • 6 individuals awaiting results

The total screening for this cluster included 711 healthcare workers, of which 20 were found to be positive for COVID-19.

Screening of close contacts and active case detection for these three clusters are still ongoing. The latest status of these clusters will be informed from time to time.

The Number of COVID-19 Cases has Reached Five Figures

MOH would like to inform that the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia until 16 September 2020 has reached five figures i.e. 10,031 cases. Active and infective COVID-19 cases are also increasing daily, and the number of COVID-19 cases being treated in the ICUs also continue to increase.

The latest data for the 15 COVID-19 patients currently in the ICUs showed that:

• 3 patients require ventilation support
• 6 patients are older adults aged 60 years and above
• 9 patients are in the age range of 21 to 56 years
• 9 patients are from the Sungai Cluster
• 10 patients have a medical history of chronic diseases
• 14 patients were infected through local transmission, while 1 patient was infected overseas
• All patients are Malaysians

Older adults are among the groups of people more affected by COVID-19 infection; however younger individuals with chronic diseases are also found to have more severe symptoms, disease and serious complications, requiring ICU admission. If this situation continues, the country’s healthcare facilities will have to bear the high patient burden again. Therefore, to prevent such a situation from occurring, every individual from all levels and walks of life must play their respective roles and comply with the SOPs and advisories issued by the Government.

The public is urged to continue to comply to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and practice the new normal in an effort to prevent the transmission of the COVID-19 infection. The practice of safe physical distancing, good hand hygiene by regular hand washing with water and soap, as well as the use of facemasks in public and crowded places, should be practiced at all times. Only with the cooperation of all levels of the society can we all break the transmission chain of the COVID-19 infection in Malaysia.

Health Advisory on COVID-19

MOH advices the public to continue to comply to the recommendations and health advisories that are often emphasised. These advisories must be incorporated as the new normal in our daily life, including:

• Avoid the 3Cs: Avoid Crowded places; Confined spaces; and Close conversations.

• Practice the 3Ws: Wash hands frequently with water and soap; Wearing facemasks is now mandatory in public areas (starting from 1 August 2020 as directed by the National Security Council) or highly recommended if symptomatic; Warn self and others for the following, in line with MOH’s advisories:
  • Avoid shaking hands or touching others, including bumping parts of the body in lieu of shaking hands
  • Practice good coughing and sneezing etiquette
  • Seek early treatment if symptomatic
  • Stay at home and avoid from visiting others
  • Regularly clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces in common areas

In addition to the SOPs, continue to adhere to THiS as the new normal:

• T: Terms set under the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO)
• Hi: High-risk groups such as children, infants, older adults and the disabled must be protected, and if unwell with symptoms, to seek early treatment
• S: Safe physical distancing is practiced at all times, of at least 1 metre away from others

MOH will continue to monitor the development of the COVID-19 situation, both in the country as well as internationally, based on available information from the World Health Organization (WHO). The public will be continuously updated on the latest information. In addition, MOH will ensure that appropriate preventive and control measures are continuously implemented.
