STATUS TERKINI KES DISAHKAN COVID-19 YANG TELAH PULIH
Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) ingin memaklumkan bahawa terdapat 51 kes yang telah pulih COVID-19 pada hari ini. Jumlah kumulatif kes yang telah pulih sepenuhnya dari COVID-19 adalah sebanyak 9,315 kes (91.6 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

STATUS TERKINI KES COVID-19 DI MALAYSIA
Sehingga 19 September 2020 pukul 12:00 tengah hari, terdapat 20 kes baharu yang telah dilaporkan. Ini menjadikan jumlah kes positif COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 10,167 kes. Oleh itu, jumlah kes aktif dengan kebolehjangkitan COVID-19 adalah 722 kes. Mereka telah diasingkan dan diberi rawatan.
Ingin dimaklumkan daripada 20 kes baharu yang dilaporkan, tiga (3) kes adalah kes import yang telah mendapat jangkitan di luar negara yang melibatkan dua (2) warganegara dan satu (1) bukan warganegara dari negara:
- New Zealand (1 kes di Selangor];
- Qatar (1 kes di Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur); dan
- India (1 kes di Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur).
Daripada 17 kes penularan di dalam negara, 14 kes adalah warganegara Malaysia dan tiga (3) kes adalah bukan warganegara. Perincian kes penularan COVID-19 dalam negara adalah seperti berikut:
- Kedah: Sembilan (9) kes
- Lapan (8) kes daripada Kluster Sungai; dan
- Satu (1) kes Severe Acute Respiratory Illness (SARI) di Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah.
- Sabah: Lapan (8) kes
- Tiga (3) kes saringan rujukan ke Hospital Tawau dari Hospital Semporna yang melibatkan dua (2) bukan warganegara;
- Satu (1) kes Severe Acute Respiratory Illness (SARI) di Hospital Tawau;
- Satu (1) kes saringan pra pembedahan di Hospital Keningau;
- Satu (1) kes saringan komuniti di Tawau;
- Satu (1) kes daripada Kluster Benteng LD; dan
- Satu (1) kes daripada Kluster Bakau yang melibatkan bukan warganegara, iaitu kluster baharu di Semporna.
Kesemua kluster ini akan diperincikan di bawah.
Sehingga kini, terdapat 12 kes positif COVID-19 yang sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU), di mana dua (2) kes memerlukan bantuan pernafasan.
Daripada maklumat terkini yang dilaporkan ke Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) Kebangsaan, dukacita dimaklumkan bahawa terdapat pertambahan satu (1) kes kematian berkaitan COVID-19. Justeru, jumlah kumulatif kes kematian COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 130 kes (1.28 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes):
- Kes kematian ke-130 (kes ke-9578) merupakan lelaki warganegara Malaysia berumur 82 tahun dan mempunyai latar belakang penyakit strok serta sukar bergerak sendiri sejak Mac 2020 akibat patah tulang utama di kaki. Beliau mengalami gejala demam pada 4 September 2020 namun tidak mendapatkan rawatan. Pada 7 September 2020, beliau telah dikesan sebagai kontak rapat kepada anak dan cucu beliau yang merupakan kes positif dalam Kluster Sungai (iaitu kes ke-9458 dan kes ke-9547), lalu dimasukkan ke Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah, Kedah. Saringan COVID-19 didapati positif pada 9 September 2020. Keadaan beliau didapati merosot dan dipindahkan ke Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU). Beliau disahkan meninggal dunia pada 18 September 2020 jam 5.45 petang.
KKM mengucapkan takziah kepada ahli keluarga beliau.

KLUSTER BAKAU
KKM ingin memaklumkan bahawa satu kluster baharu telah dikenalpasti di Semporna, Sabah. Kes indeks kluster ini adalah seorang perempuan warganegara Filipina (iaitu kes ke-10145) yang merupakan kes kematian ke-129 yang telah dilaporkan pada 18 September 2020. Saringan COVID-19 kes indeks didapati positif pada 16 September 2020. Susulan itu, saringan kontak rapat telah dijalankan dan dua (2) lagi kes positif COVID-19 bagi Kluster Bakau dikenalpasti. Dua kes positif ini melibatkan satu (1) warganegara Malaysia dan satu (1) bukan warganegara Filipina. Mereka telah dimasukkan ke Hospital Tawau untuk rawatan.
Sehingga 19 September 2020, 12 tengah hari, sejumlah 109 individu telah disaring. Keputusan saringan adalah seperti berikut:
- Tiga (3) dikesan positif COVID-19; dan
- 106 individu menunggu keputusan.
Langkah pencegahan jangkitan termasuk proses nyah kuman dan proses pembersihan telah dijalankan di Hospital Semporna. Punca jangkitan adalah masih dalam siasatan.
STATUS TERKINI KLUSTER SUNGAI DAN KLUSTER BENTENG LD
Kluster Sungai
Terdapat lapan (8) kes baharu yang dilaporkan bagi Kluster Sungai pada hari ini. Ini menjadikan jumlah kes positif kluster ini sebanyak 73 kes. Sehingga 19 September 2020 jam 12 tengah hari, sejumlah 23,935 individu telah disaring dalam kluster ini. Pecahan jumlah saringan adalah seperti berikut:
- Kedah (23,748 disaring):
- 72 kes dikesan positif COVID-19 (8 kes baharu);
- 22,944 individu negatif; dan
- 732 individu menunggu keputusan.
- Pulau Pinang (142 disaring):
- 141 individu negatif; dan
- Satu (1) individu menunggu keputusan.
- Perlis (45 disaring):
- Satu (1) kes dikesan positif COVID-19;
- 28 individu negatif; dan
- 16 individu menunggu keputusan.
Kluster Benteng LD
Terdapat satu (1) kes baharu yang dilaporkan bagi Kluster Benteng LD pada hari ini. Ini menjadikan jumlah kes positif kluster ini sebanyak 551 kes. Sehingga 19 September 2020 jam 12 tengah hari, sejumlah 7,985 individu telah disaring dalam kluster ini. Pecahan jumlah saringan mengikut daerah adalah seperti berikut:
- Tawau (5,975 disaring);
- 399 kes dikesan positif COVID-19 (1 kes baharu);
- 4,120 individu negatif; dan
- 1,456 individu menunggu keputusan.
- Lahad Datu (2,009 disaring):
- 151 kes dikesan positif COVID-19;
- 1,306 individu negatif; dan
- 552 individu menunggu keputusan.
- Sandakan (1 disaring): Satu (1) kes dikesan positif COVID-19.
Berdasarkan keseluruhan saringan bagi kluster ini, pecahan saringan melibatkan:
- 1,520 banduan dan tahanan di mana 458 kes dikesan positif COVID-19;
- 1,158 kakitangan Ibu Pejabat Daerah (IPD) Lahad Datu dan Penjara Tawau di mana 20 kes dikesan positif COVID-19;
- 1,391 ahli keluarga kepada kakitangan, banduan dan tahanan di mana 23 kes dikesan positif COVID-19;
- 1,036 pegawai agensi kerajaan lain di mana satu (1) kes dikesan positif COVID-19; dan
- 2,880 kontak sosial di mana 49 kes dikesan positif COVID-19.
Daripada jumlah 551 kes positif COVID-19, 272 adalah di kalangan warganegara Malaysia manakala 279 adalah bukan warganegara yang melibatkan negara:
- Filipina (185 kes); dan
- Indonesia (94 kes).
Ingin dimaklumkan bahawa jumlah kes akan sentiasa dikemaskini dan kategori bagi kes positif mungkin akan berubah bergantung kepada maklumat terkini hasil siasatan di lapangan.
Saringan kontak rapat dan aktiviti pengesanan kes secara aktif (Active Case Detection) bagi kluster-kluster ini masih diteruskan dan status terkini akan dimaklumkan dari semasa ke semasa.
NASIHAT KESIHATAN BERKAITAN COVID-19
KKM ingin menasihati orang ramai agar terus patuhi saranan serta nasihat-nasihat kesihatan yang sering ditekankan. Jadikanlah nasihat-nasihat ini satu kebiasaan baharu dalam kehidupan harian:
- Elakkan 3S / 3C : iaitu elakkan kawasan yang sesak (Crowded place), elakkan kawasan yang sempit (Confined space) dan elak sembang atau bertutur dengan jarak yang dekat (Close conversation).
- Amalkan 3W : iaitu kerap mencuci tangan dengan air dan sabun (Wash), memakai alat pelitup muka (facemask) di tempat awam yang telah diwajibkan oleh pihak Majlis Keselamatan Negara (MKN) mulai 1 Ogos 2020 atau jika bergejala (Wear), dan (Warn) iaitu amaran dari KKM yang lebih berkonsep peringatan seperti:
- Elakkan bersalaman / bersentuhan termasuk melagakan mana-mana bahagian tubuh badan sebagai menggantikan cara kebiasaan bersalam;
- Amalkan etika batuk dan bersin;
- Dapatkan rawatan segera jika bergejala;
- Duduk di rumah dan elakkan kunjung-mengunjung;
- Lakukan aktiviti disinfeksi dan pembersihan di kawasan yang kerap disentuh.
Patuhlah kepada S.O.P sebagai normal baharu iaitu:
- S : Syarat-syarat seperti yang ditetapkan di bawah Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Pemulihan (PKPP);
- O : Orang yang berisiko tinggi seperti kanak-kanak, bayi, warga emas dan orang kurang upaya (OKU) perlu dilindungi, individu tidak sihat dan bergejala dikehendaki segera menjalani pemeriksaan kesihatan;
- P : Penjarakan fizikal (physical distancing) sekurang-kurangnya 1 meter diamalkan pada setiap masa.
KKM akan terus memantau perkembangan kejadian jangkitan di dalam negara, dan juga luar negara melalui maklumat yang diperolehi daripada pihak Pertubuhan Kesihatan Sedunia (WHO). Orang ramai akan sentiasa dimaklumkan sebarang perkembangan terkini mengenainya. Begitu juga, KKM akan memastikan langkah pencegahan dan kawalan yang sewajarnya adalah dilaksanakan secara berterusan.

UPDATES ON THE CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19)
SITUATION IN MALAYSIA
19 September 2020
Current Status of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Who Have Recovered
The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 51 cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 9,315 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (91.6% of total cumulative cases).

Current Situation of COVID-19 in Malaysia
19 September 2020, 12 pm – a total of 20 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 10,167 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 722 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment.
Of the 20 additional cases reported today, three (3) are imported cases who were infected overseas, involving two (2) Malaysians and one (1) non-Malaysian. They were travellers from the following countries:
- New Zealand – 1 case in Selangor
- Qatar – 1 case in Kuala Lumpur
- India – 1 case in Kuala Lumpur
Of the 17 local transmission cases reported today, 14 cases are Malaysians and three (3) cases are non-Malaysians. The details of the local transmission COVID-19 cases are as follows:
- Kedah: 9 cases
- 8 cases from the Sungai Cluster.
- 1 case from Severe Acute Respiratory Illness (SARI) screening at Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital.
- Sabah: 8 cases
- 3 cases from referral screening to Tawau Hospital from Semporna Hospital, involving 2 non-Malaysians.
- 1 case from Severe Acute Respiratory Illness (SARI) screening in Tawau Hospital.
- 1 case from pre-surgery screening in Keningau Hospital.
- 1 case from community screening in Tawau.
- 1 case from the Benteng LD Cluster.
- 1 case from the Bakau Cluster, a new cluster in Semporna, involving 1 non-Malaysian.
These clusters are detailed below.
Currently, 12 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care units (ICUs), with two (2) patients on ventilation support.
Regretfully, one (1) additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there are now 130 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.28% of total cumulative cases).
- Death #130 (Case 9,578) is an 80-year-old Malaysian man with a history of stroke with limited mobility since March 2020 due to a lower limb fracture. He developed fever on 4 September 2020 but did not seek treatment. On 7 September 2020, he was identified as a close contact to his son and grandchild who were confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Sungai Cluster (Case 9,458 and Case 9,547) and was subsequently admitted into Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital, Kedah. He was found to be positive for COVID-19 on 9 September 2020. His condition deteriorated and was transferred to the ICU. He was pronounced dead on 18 September 2020, 5.45 pm.
MOH extends its condolences to his family members.

The Bakau Cluster
MOH would like to inform that a new cluster has been identified in Semporna, Sabah. The index case for this cluster is a Filipino woman (Case 10,145) whose death was reported on 18 September 2020 (Death #129). She was detected to be positive for COVID-19 on 16 September 2020. Following this, screening of close contacts was conducted and two (2) additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were identified for this cluster. These two additional cases are one (1) Malaysian and one (1) Filipino national. They have been admitted into Tawau Hospital for treatment.
As of 19 September 2020, 12 pm, a total of 109 individuals have been screened. The screening results are as follows:
- Three (3) confirmed COVID-19 cases
- 106 individuals awaiting results
Measures to prevent infection including disinfection and cleaning were carried out at Semporna Hospital. The cause of the infection is still under investigation.
Current Status of the Sungai Cluster and Benteng LD Cluster
The Sungai Cluster
Eight (8) additional confirmed COVID-19 cases are reported for this cluster today. Cumulatively, there are now 73 confirmed COVID-19 cases in this cluster. As of 19 September 2020, 12 pm, a total of 22,935 individuals have been screened in this cluster. The breakdown of screening by states involved is as follows:
- Kedah (23,748 individuals screened):
- 72 confirmed COVID-19 cases (8 additional confirmed cases reported today)
- 22,944 individuals tested negative
- 732 individuals awaiting results
- Pulau Pinang (142 screened)
- 141 individuals tested negative
- 1 individual awaiting result
- Perlis (45 screened):
- One (1) confirmed COVID-19 case
- 28 individuals tested negative
- 16 individuals awaiting results
The Benteng LD Cluster
One (1) additional confirmed COVID-19 cases are reported for this cluster today. Cumulatively, there are now 551 confirmed COVID-19 cases in this cluster. As of 19 September 2020, 12 pm, a total of 7,985 individuals have been screened in this cluster. The breakdown of screening by districts involved is as follows:
- Tawau (5,975 screened):
- 399 confirmed COVID-19 cases (1 additional case reported today)
- 4,120 individuals tested negative
- 1,456 individuals awaiting results
- Lahad Datu (2,009 individuals screened):
- 151 confirmed COVID-19 cases

From the total number of screenings for this cluster, the breakdown is as follows:
- 1,520 prisoners and detainees, of which 458 are confirmed COVID-19 cases
- 1,158 staff from the Lahad Datu District Police QH and Tawau Prison, of which 20 are confirmed COVID-19 cases
- 1,391 family members of staff, prisoners and detainees, of which 23 are confirmed COVID-19 cases
- 1,036 personnel from other government agencies, of which one (1) is a confirmed COVID-19 case
- 2,880 social close contacts, of which 49 are confirmed COVID-19 cases
Of the cumulative 551 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 272 cases are among Malaysians while 279 cases were among non-Malaysians from:
- Philippines – 185 cases
- Indonesia – 94 cases
The number of cases will be constantly updated and the categories for confirmed cases may change depending on the latest information from field investigations.
Screening of close contacts and active case detection for these clusters are still ongoing. The latest status of these clusters will be informed from time to time.
Health Advisory on COVID-19
MOH advices the public to continue to comply to the recommendations and health advisories that are often emphasised. These advisories must be incorporated as the new normal in our daily life, including:
- Avoid the 3Cs: Avoid Crowded places; Confined spaces; and Close conversations.
- Practice the 3Ws: Wash hands frequently with water and soap; Wearing facemasks is now mandatory in public areas (starting from 1 August 2020 as directed by the National Security Council) or highly recommended if symptomatic; Warn self and others for the following, in line with MOH’s advisories:
- Avoid shaking hands or touching others, including bumping parts of the body in lieu of shaking hands
- Practice good coughing and sneezing etiquette
- Seek early treatment if symptomatic
- Stay at home and avoid from visiting others
- Regularly clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces in common areas
In addition to the SOPs, continue to adhere to THiS as the new normal:
- T: Terms set under the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO)
- Hi: High-risk groups such as children, infants, older adults and the disabled must be protected, and if unwell with symptoms, to seek early treatment
- S: Safe physical distancing is practiced at all times, of at least 1 metre away from others
MOH will continue to monitor the development of the COVID-19 situation, both in the country as well as internationally, based on available information from the World Health Organization (WHO). The public will be continuously updated on the latest information. In addition, MOH will ensure that appropriate preventive and control measures are continuously implemented.
